Story
Lil Bit has got to be the sweetest and most mild mannered little senior dog. He is 11 years old and has the cutest, dignified, graying face. He weighs 17 lbs, has extra long legs, and extra tall ears. He's definitely a mix breed, but we just can't figure out what the mix could be. He came to Humane Tomorrow with his sister, Coco, when their person sadly passed away. Although they are comfortable with each other, they are not strongly bonded and can be adopted separately. Lil Bit has a passive nature and is happy to allow other dogs to lead the way. He will also be fine as an only dog, so he can get all the cuddles! He may be a ltitle reserved at first, but once he feels safe and secure, his super sweet love bug side comes out. Lil Bit is potty trained, not a big barker and walks well on leash. Because he is a senior, he qualifies for our half price adoption fee. Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Lucky is a five-year-old, 18 lb Chihuahua mix. H's a lilttle large for a Chihuahua, so we think he may be mixed with Dachshund or Rat Terrier. Of course, he may need to lose a couple of lbs, but a little exercise and nutritious food will take care of that in no time. Lucky is a lover, not a fighter. He enjoys snuggling next to his family. He will give kisses. He doesn't play much with toys but occassionally will fetch a ball. He "sits pretty" for a treat. Lucky knows how to use a doggie door if you have one. He is fine left alone in the house without being in a crate. Lucky is very quiet, very rarely does he bark. He does fine on a leash but we rarely take him on a leash as we have a doggie door and large yard. We can leave food down and Lucky will just graze eat. Please submit your application to adopt Lucky, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Diana is a 9-month-old, 8-pound bundle of Chihuahua joy. She is a playful and affectionate little pup. Diana is in a foster home with 5 other dogs, and she gets along well with all of them. Her favorites, of course, are the ones who will play with her. She loves to wrassle, play tug-of-war, and play endless games of I-chase-you, no-you-chase-me. She loves stuffed toys and will pick them up off the floor and line them up in a row on the bed. So much the better if the toy still has a squeaker in it. Diana’s very favorite toy is foster dogmom. She loves to get up in her lap and wrassle while foster dogmom is scratching her ears, scritching her butt, and giving her tummy rubs. When Diana has worn herself out, she finds foster dogmom’s lap to be the perfect spot for a nap. Diana is very affectionate. She loves to snuggle in your lap in between the wrassling and the napping. She is crazy excited when you come home, doing her puppy Pet-me-first, Pet-me-first dance. As an older puppy, Diana has some of her manners down. By and large she is non-destructive, though you have to watch her around paper products or books left on the floor or couch. Foster dogmom gives Diana run of 3 rooms when she’s gone, and she hasn’t destroyed anything. She is not fully house-trained but is well on her way. She knows to piddle and poop when she’s let outside. She would like very much to sleep with you in the bed, but you don’t allow it, she will sleep on a chair or a dog bed. She has zero aggression and will take dog treats gently from your hand. Diana would prefer a house with a yard because she loves to run zoomies, but she would be okay in an apartment. She would be an excellent dog for a household with another dog to play with. She would also do well with children in their teens. She’s still a little mouthy when she plays and might scare younger children. Diana is spayed, has all her shots, and is microchipped. She is heartworm-negative. Note: We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that seem to be a good fit for the dog.

Story
If you are interested in adopting, please copy and paste this link into your browser...https://asrpets.org/AdoptThisDogThis is the fast way to meeting your new pet.Meet Rosemary, a gentle soul who is looking for a patient, understanding home, where she can finally feel safe. This pint sized little lady is a bit cautious and scared at first, which can sometimes come across as protective when she’s in unfamiliar territory or around strangers. Once she bonds with you, her protective side melts away into pure, affectionate devotion. Because Rosemary is a sensitive soul, she would thrive in a quiet, low traffic home without young children. With a little extra time, patience, and love, she will blossom into the ultimate cuddle buddy. We estimate that she was born in 2018.Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heartworm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24Petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered-if not already, a voucher is provided which will cover the cost.
