Story
Paz is an adorable 1-year old, 10-pound Chihuahua mix dog who loves EVERYBODY—People, dogs, cats and chickens. He will greet any new person coming into the house and happily accept scritches. Paz is very energetic and would do best in a house with another dog to play with. He loves to play fetch and tug-of-war. Open the back door and he’ll zip around the back yard doing his zoomies so fast he’s a blur. He enjoys meeting new dogs and would be a great little guy to take to the dog park. As an older puppy, Paz has his manners down. He is housebroken, though you should expect accidents until he learns your schedule for going outside. He is leash-trained, and you should plan to walk him daily. He rarely barks and knows his canine etiquette. He is very smart: you only need to show him a command 3 times before he has it down. He is learning to come when called. Fair warning, though, he still has plenty of puppy in him, and anything left on the floor—paper, plastic bags, etc.--is fair game. When he’s done with his puppy antics, Paz likes to settle down in Foster Dogmom’s lap. He loves neck scratches and chin scritches. He will happily listen to you go on and on about what a good boy he is. He also loves to be brushed. He would like very much to sleep in his dog parent’s bed, though Foster Dogmom doesn’t allow it and he has adjusted. Pax came to us as a stray from the streets of the Rio Grande valley in southern Texas and deserves a much better life than the one he’s had up until now. He would make an excellent dog for a family or active couple. And, as stated earlier, he would thrive with another dog buddy to play with. Paz is neutered, has all his shots, and is microchipped. He is heartworm-negative. Note: We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that seem to be a good fit for the dog.

Story
Hi!! I’m Bennix! Also known as Ben or Benny. I am almost 4 and have been with the same paw-parents my whole life. However my parents are no longer together and unable to house me. They are needing me to be with a loving family who will handle all my funny quirks. I enjoy playing fetch, taking walks, cuddling nonstop. I am fully house trained so no need to worry if I potty in the house. If you think you would be the right home for me please feel free to reach out!!

Story
Rocky is a 4.5-year-old neutered male Chihuahua mix with BIG personality packed into a little frame. If you’re looking for energy, entertainment, and nonstop affection… this is your guy.Rocky is excitable, goofy, and has a lot to say. He comes with the cutest little bark and absolutely loves to “talk” to you about his day. He’s incredibly social and makes it his personal mission to greet every single person in the room — because clearly, everyone should be giving him attention.Once he picks you, he’s glued to your leg. Pets? Yes. Snuggles? Absolutely. Constant affection? Mandatory. Rocky thrives on love and makes sure he gets his fair share (and maybe a little extra). And the confidence? Unmatched. Yesterday he was proudly attempting to carry around toys bigger than he is — because size has never stopped him from living his best life.If you want a hilarious, affectionate, attention-loving little sidekick who will keep you smiling and make sure you never feel ignored again, Rocky is ready to run your house (and your heart).CAME IN WITH BENJI AND YETI. WOULD LOVE TO STAY TOGETHER.

Story
These two sweet boys are a bonded pair, so we are looking for a home where they can stay together. They do great with other small dogs, so a home with additional small canine friends would be a great fit. Here’s what their foster mom has to say: “Leo is the smaller of the two and full of energy—he loves playing with all the dogs. His brother, Milo, is a sweet boy who never says no to a treat! Milo is very attached to Leo and will cry when they’re apart. Both are potty and crate trained, though Milo may mark his territory occasionally.” Leo and Milo are 5 year old Chihuahua mixes. If you’re ready to welcome this adorable duo into your home, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2487807##
