Breed: Chihuahua mix Rescue: Albert’s Dog Lounge Age: Senior Weight: 18 lbs Foster home: Stoughton, IL Activity level: Low Friendly with: Dogs, cats, and respectful children. Sleep style: Prefers larger dog beds, or a larger crate inside a dog bed Meals: 3 freeze dried small batch turkey patties morning and evening, plus a bedtime snack. Joseph LOVES snacks Bark-o-meter: 2/10 Shedding meter: 1/10 Best features: His singing voice. Just kidding, my expressive ears and my mighty tail waggle tie for first place! Favorite season: I do enjoy a leisurely early summer walk but am not a fan of pollen Signature color: Technicolor Fashion: Definitely a Dreamcoat. Or any hand woven, cozy clothes. He had a broken pelvis in April 2025 and a broken leg in August 2025, but has recovered and is doing so well. He does have some potential allergies that we are trying Benadryl to help with, and is cat friendly despite having a foster kitty sibling that likes to smack him around. He is a stage 2-3 clinger during his first few days of decompression in a new home then settles down. He is a happy boy who dances for his meals.
