UPDATE 1/2/26: Butler is coming out of his shell! He really is quite funny. He loves to play with puppies and doesn`t mind the small dogs. He still likes to play `come get me` when trying to leash him up but we can 100% tell he really likes scratches. He definitely has a spunky sassiness, and is starting to play with us more. He has been doing a lot of play bowing, with his silly `big tough guy` bark, and entices `come get me!` He is really goofy underneath it all. He doesn`t mind being picked up but doesn`t want us to know that yet. He is definitely a chihuahua! (We mean that in the best way). Come see for yourself!!Butler was rescued by Animal Rescue Corps from a double-hoarding case in Tennessee. Butler isn`t sure how he feels about the world just yet, but with time and reassurance, he will learn to enjoy life as mans best friend. He may be wary of staff, but when he gets scared, he always seeks the comfort of a warm lap. While cautious around large dogs, he isn`t afraid to approach smaller ones, puffing out his chest and jumping to incite play.Call Helping Paws to meet Butler.D.O.B: 10-14-23
