Story
Meet Helen. Helen arrived with her 4 doodle puppies, and this little family are now ready to find their forever homes. Quiet, happy and still a little shy, Helen will bloom in a loving and patient home, where she feels safe and can show you her true, social self. Her foster mom post-spay said that once she was in a home she warmed up quickly and was soon snuggling, giving kisses and following her everywhere, a true companion! Helen has the most empathetic eyes and definitely pays attention to you and offers affection. Helen has basic training as she walks well on leash, can sit, shake paws for treats, and is calm on a car ride. Helen loves to go on walks and is very alert. With a little patience, her forever family will truly have an amazing, sweet girl. If Helen sounds like she will be a good fit for you and your family, apply to meet her today!

Story
Meet Buddy Buddy came to us from Fescno where he was found as a stray. As a very new member of our pack, he is still decompressing; so far he is polite, easy to handle and cautiously friendly. He is very strong on leash and will need help with his leash manner. Please check back to learn more about Buddy over the coming week.

Story
**Meet Lassie this Saturday, April 27th from 10 to 1:00 at Dublin Petsmart West, 6960 Amador Plaza Rd.** Have you been thinking about a dog, but not sure that you have the energy to invest in the basic training skills? Lassie would love to meet you and fulfill your dreams. Lassie is a Rough Collie/Husky mix about 48 lbs. She may be a bit shy when first meeting you, but she warms up quickly. Lassie is the sweetest dog. She loves to be pet and have her belly rubbed. A tired dog is a good dog. Lassie is happy with 2 or 3 walks (20 to 30 minutes each) at day. She walks well on her leash and does not react to people or other dogs she encounters on her walks. However, you may need to be ready for the occasional bolt if she sees a squirrel or cat. She is up for longer walks and would probably love a jogging partner. Lassie is house trained. If you miss her signal to go out, she will get your attention with a low howl. She loves her bed for naps during the day and goes easily into her crate at nighttime. She knows basic commands like sit and down (although her stubborn husky side may cause her to respond a little slowly at times). Lassie is working on the stay command as well as loose leash walking. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. ## See video of Lassie at the end of the photo gallery! ## If you are interested in Lassie, please submit an application by clicking the "Apply For Adoption box " located below her photos on the right side. Story
Patches is just about perfect. He's three years old and fully grown at 33 pounds. He is loved by everyone he meets. He was terrified at the shelter and a few not good but great samaritans took him out of the clanging loud overcrowded shelter and brought him outside where he transformed into a wonderful adorable loving fun dog .. the kind of dog who makes the world's best companion and the kind of dog you raise your kids with. He was scheduled to die and Reunion Rescue put a rescue hold on him. We didn't have a cent in the bank and had just pulled Pumpkin another sweetheart pittie. He was a leap of faith because we KNEW he was a perfect dog and that perfect home is out there waiting for him. Here is his TikTox which shows him going from terrified to super pup all in a few minutes: https://www.tiktok.com/@heathersshelterpals/video/7275403855792327979 Reunion Rescue and Animals First Rescue has the greatest foster to adopt program and if interested you can get into our holistic support and never pay another vet bill. Story
Finley - the terrific tripod! Finely, an Aussie mix arrived at the farm with a very badly broken leg. This bright, wannabe energetic, young dog was obviously uncomfortable and struggling with mobility. Our vets advised the best thing for Finely was to amputate his damaged leg, and after a complicated but successful surgery, this amazing 8 month old is living his best life as a tripod dog! His recovery has been nothing short of amazing & Finely is now in a playgroup with dogs of all sizes, running around and navigating the world with his happy and adventurous spirit. Apply to adopt Finely today, would love an active and adventurous home to call his own.
