Meet Cookie and read what her foster has shared about her. Cookie is nothing short of a wonderful dog. She has a calm and very loving personality, bonds deeply with her people and gives lots of kisses. She loves humans and is always eager to say hello! She's joyfully energetic and channels her energy very well in the house, enjoying rest and nap time after a long walk. She's also very smart and knows "sit", "wait", "leave it" and "paw". Frequent walks and hikes are needed, especially as Cookie loves being outside and exploring. She gets at least 1.5 hours of exercise in a day (walks + running in an enclosed space where she can burn off her energy and get her zoomies out). Every 2-3 days, she goes on a longer walk or hike for 3 to 4 hours. She adores her walks and needs an active and outdoorsy family. Cookie is also fully houstrained. She can totally be trusted when left alone and we allow her to free roam in the house. She sleeps on her dog bed in her crate at night (in the living room), and often hangs out in her crate during the day to be in her own space, when she's not by our side napping or asking for pets and snuggles! Overall, she's a happy pup who really wants to make friends and highly benefits from being socialized with dogs as it seems to boost both her mood and self-confidence. She is especially drawn to her northern breed cousins (huskies and samoyeds, to name a few) and enjoys playtime sessions with them. At times, Cookie can feel a little insecure and may resource guard her person from other dogs, so she will do best with an adopter who understands this behavior and can provide clear boundaries and reassurance. She has strong prey drive so is not good around small animals. While she does well with most dogs outside, she is more selective about dogs in her home when it comes to personality, size, and playfulness. We think Cookie would do well either in a home with a self-confident, energetic dog companion she can play with, or in a single-dog home where her human(s) find opportunities for her to be around other dogs and play. Chowder is a happy, fun-loving boy with loads of love to share. He loves to spend his day playing with his people, other canine companions, and a ball. Chowder loves to play fetch, though he isn't always great at giving it back. Chowder is currently housed with 3 other dogs, and they play all day. Chowder craves human attention, and begs to go on walks. He would do best in an active household. Chowder does well off-leash. he is inquisitive, and likes to check things out, but comes back when called. Chowder can be food aggressive, though are working with him and he has gotten much better. He would probably do best in an adult-only home, as he will act out if he feels threatened. Chowder would not be a good fit for a house with cats. Nonetheless, all Chowder really wants is a family and home to call his own, and he will delight whoever is lucky enough to take a chance on him. He really wants to be loved, and to do what is asked of him. He is very expressive and fun to be around.

Hank is a big beautiful 1 1/2 yr old boy that is fully/professionally trained. He is house trained, crate trained, leash trained (amazing walker/ trained not to pull), well behaved in the car, loves going new places and meeting new people, takes treats gently. Hank is a mixed guardian shepherd breed and needs lots of exercise. If you have a big yard (which is needed for Hank), no need for a ball or frisbee, he will sprint around for hours by himself protecting your yard. He doesn't get along with male dogs, but does fine with female dogs and cats. Hank has lived with a 4 yo and 6 yo for over a year and is very gentle and sweet with him. However, because of his size, we think he would do best in a home with older kids. Hank is neutered, UTD on his vaccines and microchipped. Remi is a wonderful dog in many ways. She is a beautiful 4 year old shepherd/collie mix with a very sweet personality, eager to please, bonds with her person quickly and is very gentle and even protective of young children and her person. She walks beautifully on a leash (and off-leash right by your side) and indifferent to the presence of other dogs on walks. Energy level is on lower end. We adopted Remi in March from a family that had to relocate due to military orders. Unfortunately they didn’t disclose her challenges and moved right after. She chases/lunges/nips cats, is aggressive toward dogs in her space and very nervous toward strange men (lunges/nips at their but). We’ve worked with a private trainer who has agreed that our home is not the right place for her. We genuinely care for Remi and we believe she will thrive in the right environment. Remi’s ideal home is with a single woman (or couple) who work from or are retired, live a fairly quiet life with no cats.

Adopt Cedar This Handsome boy has been looking for a home for quite sometime. He was rescued at just 4 months old back in April 2024. All of his siblings found loving homes already. Cedar took some time to open up but Cedar loves the outdoors now! He is shy but playful, great with other pups, curious, and smart (taught himself the dog door on his own), food motivated which is a bonus for training! He’s crate trained, potty trained and just a stunning hound mix who was kill-listed and a true survivor! Cedar is ready for patience and love. He sleeps through the night and is learning to trust humans more and more everyday. Originally he is from the Coachella Valley, Animal Shelter and saved on Easter Sunday. ?We are very thankful for everyone that has helped all the siblings! ? With a total of eight fearful puppies who had nowhere to go. Now they have all one by one come out of their shells at their own time. We would love for Cedar to find a home where he could relax and decompress. These puppies definitely needed love and patience, and they are opening up a little by little. Adopt Bowser JR! Bowser joined our pack from the Modesto animal shelter at just 5 weeks old. Now he is the last of the litter left and around 9 months old. He was found with his mama and siblings in Modesto ca. Bowsers face had injuries and so did all the other siblings. Even though he had an injury to his face he is still as cute as can be. Bowser is around 9 months old now, neutered, chipped and vaccinated. Bowser Jr - LOVES TOYS. His favorite toys are tennis balls! Will do anything for a treat. Likes to goof around all day and discover new taste. He is an extremely loyal dog. Loves to be around people he already knows.
