Story
Hi there, I'm the big, playful guy of my litter! My name is Grover, and I'm on the lookout for my forever family. I'm all about having a great time. Energy? Oh, I've got plenty of that! I can keep up with you on all your adventures. Plus, my fur is super soft, perfect for cuddles after a long day of play. Potty training? Yep, still learning, but I'm a quick study. My foster mom says I'm acing the puppy pad game at night in my playpen. I'm going to be a big dog, both in size and heart. If you're looking for a playful, loyal companion who's ready to be your best friend, then I'm your guy! Grover is a Male Collie/Shepherd Mix that we estimate to be born around 2/13/2024 and as of 4/27, weighs 14 lbs.

Story
Hey y'all! The name is Greta and I am just the sweetest little thing! I'm a bit new around here so you will have to forgive me if I am still learning my manners! Foster mama says I have been doing a great job at potty training. I let her know when I need to go out and I am learning the crate ain't so bad either! I am the perfect mix of playful and snuggly puppy - truly the best of BOTH worlds..a rare combo if I do say so myself! I love playing with other dogs and toys, but I would be fine by myself as long as you give me all the love and attention this true southern girl truly deserves! If you're interested, put in your app soon because a gal this sweet and cute won't be around long! Greta is a Female Collie/Shepherd Mix that we estimate to be born around 2/13/2024, and as of 4/27, weighed 15lbs.

Story
Vivian is a beautiful young blue Merle smooth coat female collie. She is approximately 2-3 years old and 55 lbs. Vivian is a very special girl that came from a hoarding situation of about 200 collies, Her happy place revolves around other dogs, which make her feel comfortable and confident. She loves to run and play and has a tendency to hop around like a bunny rabbit when playing! She is a very sweet girl but is not a cuddler. She is very cautious around humans and is progressing. Vivian is house trained and uses a doggie door. Vivian needs a home that is calm and relatively quiet. It is a must that she has a furry friend that will give her the comfort and confidence she needs. Her family will need patience and understanding to continue her progress.

Story
Hello Seamus! (pronounced Shamus) Seamus is a smooth tri collie approximately 6 years old and about 55 pounds. He came to HCR from a hoarding situation of neglect. He has come a long way with his foster mom learning trust and love. Seamus is happiest outside, running freely and barking greetings to neighboring kitties, kids, and doggies! His favorite place is chillin’ on the sofa. He can be a bit goofy playing with toys, and seeking attention and love with sweet little nose taps. He does well on a leash and short walks. He also enjoys car rides. Seamus’ perfect home would be a peaceful adult home with another calm playful dog to continue to give him confidence. Seamus loves other dogs and is just the sweetest boy! He is shy and will need a little patience and understanding to gain trust with his new owner. Seamus will make the right person a wonderful loving companion. Local adoptions only. Story
Introducing handsome Oscar! Oscar is a 1 year old tri-colored color-headed white smooth coat collie. He weighs about 50 lbs. He is so very sweet and loving but can also be quite shy. Oscar will need someone that understands him and can help him gain confidence. Another sweet playmate would be a benefit. Oscar looks to his human for guidance and is eager to please. As with all young pups, he has an on switch too. That’s when the fun begins! Oscar is potty trained and crate trained. Oscar’s furever home would include a sweet fur-sibling to show him the ropes and people to give him love, attention and patience. Oscar would prefer a calm home and to be the center of attention!

Story
Annie's a total sweetheart who's all about cuddles and playtime! She's got tons of personality and gets along great with other dogs. She has never met a cat that we know of. Annie is amazing with kids! She does have a tendency to jump up eagerly for kisses so she may do better in a home with kids over about 7 years old. Of course, with training, she can learn not to jump up. Annie is very treat and food motivated. She almost has “sit” mastered and is almost perfect with her potty training. We believe she is an Australian Kelpie mixed with rat terrier. She’s estimated to be about 40 pounds fully grown. Annie is currently 17 pounds and 5 months old. She is spayed and vaccinated. If you are looking for a combo of sweet, sassy, and a whole lot of love - Annie is your girl! Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home.
