Rozzlo is a 1 year old, Red Heeler and Shepherd mix  Rozzlo and his litter mates were surrendered to the shelter at just 1 month old. He spent 2.5 months in the shelter, until his foster mom came in one day to pick out a new foster pup before Christmas! He has been with his foster mom for quite some time now because he requires an extra special someone to spend his life with.  He has a typical goofy puppy personality. He’s about 55 pounds and is great for someone looking for a dog that’s about the average size of a heeler. He loves his toys and tug of war is his favorite game. He enjoys a good game of chuck, too. Due to his breed mixture, he is extremely smart and learns most things quickly. He is kennel trained, potty trained, basic obedience trained, he rides well in the car (in his kennel), he walks well on leash, and loves to cuddles. He is not allowed on all of the furniture, so he does have an understanding of house rules. He tolerates baths, but is amazing at getting his nails done, teeth brushing, and fur brushing! He is very funny, loves to rough house with his people, and loves to talk.  He will require some form of daily exercise and training to keep him balanced and fulfilled. However, he does not require an unmanageable amount.  Rozzlo is looking for a very special person or family. This person must understand dog behavior and be willing to take on the responsibility of a dog who will need special care & training to thrive. Due to being dropped at the shelter so young and his genetic make-up, Rozzlo has some sass. He needs to be the only pet and the only child, for the rest of his life. He loves his adult humans, but needs to have someone that won’t force him to try to “make friends” with everyone. He’s pretty shy and doesn’t really trust strangers. As long as his person advocates for him and his space, he does fine out and about.  As always, we never guarantee the breed OR the size they'll be as an adult. Fishy is about 10 months old.  He is crate trained, playful. Would do well with a doggie friend with proper introductions. He is active and will need exercise. He hates fireworks.(when outside with them going off)   He did break a leg when he was young. This set him back on potty training. He is capable when on a schedule or crated  ** he has been doing very well the last few weeks even the snow didn’t bother him!**  The broken leg has healed but it may result in arthritis when older.  We have him with no cats but that is simply because of not knowing the cat. He lives with one now and is ok but he does tend to chase him because of both the puppy side of him as well as the herding dog.  We simply do not want something to happen accidentally to someone’s cat.  .  $250 adoption donation cash or Venmo or PayPal. He is fully vetted neutered and up to date on distemper shots.  If you can't adopt or foster, please think about sponsering a cat/dog, puppy/kitten. Just $20 a month will help feed one. Just $40 will get a kitten spayed/neutered. The possiblities are endless. These creatures come from shelters who by no choice of their own, would have to put the down, simply because there are too many. The more donations we receive, the more we are able to help. Meet Yahoo! Yahoo is an Australian Cattle Dog who weighs about 55 lbs and is considered a medium energy dog. This goofball is one of the most affectionate dogs I've ever fostered. He absolutely loves human affection and snuggles! He's an amazing buddy when watching tv and will lay right next to you and lay his head on your lap. Often times he will nudge his humans for more pets as well as roll over for belly rubs!Yahoo rides great in the car and is a great companion on walks and hikes as he generally walks at your pace without pulling. Although he can be reactive at times when he sees other dogs on walks, his foster mom is working hard at helping him realize is not necessary for him to act silly and feel the need to react.His foster home consists of me (foster mom), my fiance, and our female dog Kida (a shepherd mix). Yahoo and Kida get along terrific and we have had zero issues between the two of them. This has led me to believe that Yahoo prefers the company of female dogs over males.Did I mention this boy is super smart? He knows the sit, shake, and down commands. He does his business outside and has not had any accidents in the house. He willingly goes into his crate at night without making a peep.Yahoo has some traits typical to Cattle dogs/Blue Heelers in that he can be protective at times. He will also attempt to "herd" small children and has a prey drive for little critters. For these reasons he ideally should not go to a home with cats, young children, or those looking to start a family.A trait that he possesses that's not typical to his breed- HE IS A CALM, DAPPER GENTLEMAN! He's also a bit of a loaf... he would rather get pet than chase a ball. Although he loves to run around with squeaky toys and have the zoomies, it's typically for a short time then he's looking to relax near his humans. Do yourself a favor and meet this goofy boy! Hello My name is Banjo, and I am roughly six months old. My story starts being dumped with my sister, and we hid in a drainage ditch for a while. The rescue came and picked us up and life has changed forever. I love playing with other dogs. It can be chase or just wrestling or in the kiddie pool together! I do love my kiddie pool. I have a habit of carrying something in my mouth all the time. Usually, a stuffed animal or a squeaky toy. It makes me feel better and even try to talk a little with it in my mouth. It probably helps my insecurities after being dumped . I have been doing great in the house. I use a doggie door and sleep on a kuranda bed at night. The rescue did my DNA test, and I came back mostly German Shepard and Australian shepherd. The biggest thing I need is my confidence built up that I won’t be dumped again. I would prefer always having company ,human or dog. I am a big baby and trying to restore my faith in humans. I am neutered , micro chipped, up to date on vaccinations. My adoption fee covers a health certificate from the vet and transport from Tennessee.
