Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee. This dog will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, July 12th from 12-3pm unless adopted prior to the event. To be considered for adoption, pls submit an application in advance.   Adoption Fee: $650 Like her name suggests, Bubble floats through life with playful energy and irresistible charm.     Bubble is a 4 month old Chiweenie puppy weighing 11.2 lbs with a big heart, a smart mind, and a bounce in her step! Rescued from the Central Valley after being abandoned with her siblings, Bubble has blossomed into a joyful and energetic pup in her loving foster home. Her brothers and sisters have already found their forever families — now it's Bubble's turn.   When Bubble first arrived, she was shy and uncertain, especially around the men in her foster family and the resident dogs. But with patience and love, Bubble has made incredible progress. She now initiates play with the family dogs (a 15 lb. beagle and a 55 lb. hound!), follows them around the house, and greets her humans with excitement — especially the ladies of the house. She's even learning to trust the men, happily accepting treats and playing fetch with them.   Bubble’s days are full of puppy fun. She wakes up around 7:30 a.m. and starts the day with zoomies before breakfast — and often during breakfast, too! She loves to carry her kibble around while she plays, only to return and finish eating when she’s good and ready. Throughout the day, she alternates between playtime with the resident dogs, entertaining herself with squeaky toys (which she ADORES), and cozy naps in her x-pen. She has lunch around noon and dinner at 6:00 p.m., with plenty of outdoor potty breaks and play sessions in between. Bubble sleeps quietly in her pen at night and stays in a crate when her humans are away.   This smart little girl already knows how to sit for a treat, ring a bell to go outside, and play an enthusiastic game of fetch — often with the biggest ball she can carry! She’s housetrained to go potty outside or on pads, has had no accidents indoors, and is crate-trained. While she’s got typical puppy energy and is working through a bit of teething, she’s not destructive and hasn’t shown any interest in digging or chewing out of boredom.   Bubble would thrive in an active home with people who can keep up with her playful spirit. She’d love a canine playmate but would also do well as the center of attention. She hasn’t been around cats or kids yet, but with her affectionate nature, she may do well with a slow introduction and proper guidance.   What sets Bubble apart? Her resilience, her sweetness, and her hilarious personality — like the time she tried to howl with a ball in her mouth while playing fetch (spoiler: it was adorable). She’s a cuddle bug at heart and will happily snuggle in your lap after a good play session.   If you're looking for a clever, spirited, and affectionate companion who’s ready to keep you smiling, Bubble might just be your perfect match. Come meet her — she’s ready to bring joy, energy, and a whole lot of love into her forever home.July 13, 2025, 11:11 am

She might seem a little shy when you first meet her, but all it takes is a few gentle pets and she’ll melt into a wiggly, snuggly, playful little lovebug. Beatriz is all about belly rubs, tail wags, and being your shadow wherever you go. She loves curling up next to you for a nap just as much as she loves a goofy little play session in the yard. Story
Roo is a cuddly and spunky 3yr old miniature dachshund with blue dapple short hair. We love this girl to pieces but a recent injury left her partially incontinent and her back legs paralyzed. As such, she needs special care - namely, somebody who can be available to express her bladder (i.e., press gently on her tummy where her bladder is so that she can pee) 4-5x times a day. Her new home needs somebody who works from home or who is generally at home during the day. Roo is not a good fit for families that work away from the home from 9-5pm. >>About the Injury: Roo ruptured a disc in her back and was diagnosed IVDD level 5 with no deep pain in early March 2025. We got her into surgery right away but, given the severity of the injury, they do not know if she will walk again. We have been on a diligent physical therapy regiment and believe that, with continued time and physical therapy, there is a chance Roo will walk again. She does not need specific vet care or medications, just TLC.

Story
Thank you for your inquiry. Bambi has an adopter but we have to wait for them to go pick her up after the stay-at-home is lifted. Once she is picked up we will remove her profile. Please do not write to us for an application. Sorry for any inconvenience. Bambi is extremely shy. She is approximately 1 year old and weighs just 7 lbs. Once she warms up she is very affectionate. Bambi wouldn't do well in a busy home with loud fast children because she would be scared of them. She gets along well with cats, though, and doesn't chase them. She is good with other dogs of all sizes and plays with them when she isn’t coming to you for love. She loves to cuddle up on your lap or in your bed at night! She is simply a loving little doll. Bambi is very calm and well-behaved. She is good on a leash as well. Bambi needs a quiet home without a lot of noise or strange people coming over all the time for her to feel safe and comfortable. She is very sweet and not aggressive at all, even when scared. She would do best in a home with another dog or where she has contact with her owner throughout the day. because they are home She wouldn’t do well left alone for a full workday without a canine companion. Bambi is a loyal companion once she gets to know you and will show you love and affection. She would do best with somewhere like a patio or a yard so she can go out as she does now to do her business. This little doll is a lovable, cuddly, and trusting little girl when she gets to know you. Given some time and patience, she will warm up to someone willing to give her the loving and secure home that she deserves. Bambi is being fostered in Oakland. Ca. Her adoption fee is $275.00. Arrangements to meet our dogs occur after an application has been received. Please contact us at dogzonerescue@yahoo.com for more information about this great gal or for an application to adopt.
