Who is the cutie with the light eyes? This is Lulu, a spunky gal waiting for her forever home. We believe she is a doxie mix of sorts, approx 15 lbs, she is cheeky gal who plays with other dogs; big & small, loves toys and is learning to be brave on walks. She can be shy to start but warms quickly. She is currently in foster with staff member. She has done well living with dogs, cats & birds, she’s nearly house trained & targets a pee pad. She is a spunky playful gal who would do best in home with another confident, playful dog but would be fine as a single dog as long as there is plenty playtime & walks. Lulu is lively & affectionate looking for patience as she gains confidence with new experiences. Her cherry eyes surgery will be covered by Jelly's. This is Claude! Claude is a 16lb, 2 year old love bug looking for his forever home. Claude is very connected and loyal to his foster mom who feeds him and gives him constant snuggles. His favorite things are ball time outside, leash walks, treats and snuggles on the couch. He’s an absolute gentleman and perfectly potty trained. Claude takes a little longer to warm up to men, but comes around eventually. He does great with other animals, but gets a little upset with loud children. He would probably do best in a home without young kiddos. His adorable underbite and constantly wagging tail, makes him pretty darn irresistible. Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption. Double Dribble is a distinguished black and tan chihuahua who is adjusting well to life at Muttville – if you keep him plied with snacks, laps, and scratches, he’s as easy as pie. Well, Double Dribble is an easygoing gent most of the time, he’s very mellow and believes in going with the flow. He’s got the best kind of ears, where one is cocked a bit higher than the other, giving him a perpetually quizzical expression. Really, he’s in a constant state of trying to determine if he’s dribbled once or twice – he often can’t remember, hence the name. While not always confident about the number of dribbles, this cute chi is positive he’d be a great addition to your family. Come meet him today! Here's some notes from his foster: Double Dribble has a voracious appetite, he licks the bowl 100% clean. You won't have to worry about getting him to eat, it surely is his favorite activity! He becomes super attentive anytime I eat - makes the “cute face” to try to get some! Generally he's not too active. He mostly just likes to be in the presence of and hang out around people. Dribble likes to take frequent short naps! (thus far, wants to nap in the same room as people, or will wake up and walk over to get your attention) and generally wants to remain in the same room as me at all times. He also does not whine or complain when separated from his humans. He will just settle in for a nap when left alone. Double Dribble enjoys outdoor walks, and can walk multiple blocks (though a stroller is preferred). He is super active and super social - if he can catch the scent of other dogs, he zooms around. Otherwise, he will go for a slow, leisurely stroll. He seems calm around people/dogs/birds, though has not extensive contact thus far. He does not bark or make noise. He struggles with multiple steps - can navigate 4-5 (including at Muttville HQ). Anything beyond that, and I prefer to carry him. Dribble is Potty-trained! Will use the restroom outside. He rides calmly in the car while inside carrier. Would probably function best in a car with a human next to him giving him comfort. Once relaxed, he will even curl up and sleep.

Thank you for your inquiry. Bambi has an adopter but we have to wait for them to go pick her up after the stay-at-home is lifted. Once she is picked up we will remove her profile. Please do not write to us for an application. Sorry for any inconvenience. Bambi is extremely shy. She is approximately 1 year old and weighs just 7 lbs. Once she warms up she is very affectionate. Bambi wouldn't do well in a busy home with loud fast children because she would be scared of them. She gets along well with cats, though, and doesn't chase them. She is good with other dogs of all sizes and plays with them when she isn’t coming to you for love. She loves to cuddle up on your lap or in your bed at night! She is simply a loving little doll. Bambi is very calm and well-behaved. She is good on a leash as well. Bambi needs a quiet home without a lot of noise or strange people coming over all the time for her to feel safe and comfortable. She is very sweet and not aggressive at all, even when scared. She would do best in a home with another dog or where she has contact with her owner throughout the day. because they are home She wouldn’t do well left alone for a full workday without a canine companion. Bambi is a loyal companion once she gets to know you and will show you love and affection. She would do best with somewhere like a patio or a yard so she can go out as she does now to do her business. This little doll is a lovable, cuddly, and trusting little girl when she gets to know you. Given some time and patience, she will warm up to someone willing to give her the loving and secure home that she deserves. Bambi is being fostered in Oakland. Ca. Her adoption fee is $275.00.
