 Hello, my name is Kobe.  I'm a 2-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund/Hound mix boy that would love a forever home with you.  My current weight is 26 pounds and I should fully grown.  I am good with children and other dogs. I enjoy playing with my siblings and romping around in the yard with my toys. Frida is a 14 lb, 6 year old dachshund-terrier mix, but with adorable Italian Greyhound ears. Ms Frida is a love. This snuggle muffin will warm your heart, your lap and be a wonderful companion.    She gives kisses and love freely. She wants to be near her person and will follow you everywhere. Frida takes a little bit of time to know and trust people but she wants to be first in your heart and strives to be just that.   Frida needs an experienced dog owner to help her trust other dogs but she walks weekly with a friendly pack of dogs and responds well to training with treats and a patient hand.    She is excellent at staying by herself for several hours, is house trained, and has been called “a joy” by her dog sitter.  While Ms. Frida needs a firm and patient hand to calm down when encountering unknown dogs, she is very food driven and can be persuaded to sit and ignore everything when offered a treat.    With time and training Ms. Frida will be your most devoted companion.   She loves to sleep in bed with her foster, but does fine in her crate.    after a few months with her foster, she has become playful and likes her squeaky toy.  Ms. Frida needs a forever home where she comes first, can relax, and be her sweet doxy-mix self.   Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs.
