Earle the Pearl: A Tale of Resilience and Joy Earle the Pearl is a delightful 20-pound bundle of energy, with a heart as big as his personality. At just two years old, Earle's journey began in November 2025 when he was found abandoned, tied to a fence outside a vet's office. Despite this rough start, Earle hasn't let it dampen his spirit. Personality and Activities Earle is the epitome of a “happy-go-lucky” pup. He loves to dive headfirst into activities, whether it's wrestling with his shepherd foster brother or snuggling on the sofa with his pittie foster sisters. Earle thrives on companionship and prefers to be in the midst of the action. Crate Training and Mischief While Earle isn't fond of being crated, it’s a necessary measure for his safety when his foster family is out. He can manage about four hours before he starts plotting his escape, accompanied by a serenade of canine tunes. When not crated, Earle is a curious explorer—checking out table tops, counters, and even attempting online shopping! Play and Exercise Earle is happiest with a playmate, whether it’s a fellow dog or an active family member. He enjoys exploring the fenced backyard and romping in the snow, especially when decked out in a cozy sweater. With his love for running and exceptional vertical leap, Earle needs space to expend his energy. Sleeping and House Training Earle sleeps comfortably in a crate in the bedroom at night, though he dreams of snuggling under the covers with humans and other dogs. He’s made significant progress with house training, but supervision is key due to his small bladder. His initial challenges were compounded by hookworms, but he's on the mend. Ideal Home Earle would flourish in a home with a yard and an active family. Older children and/or a canine sibling would be ideal companions for this lively pup. Story
Meet Ducky~ about 6 months old, not fully sure what breeds, any guesses? Heard daschund, corgi, basset. He is good with dogs, very playful and looks to the older dogs for guidance. We dont know about cats. He is great with kids, Hlhe has attached himself to the families daughter. He is in a home with 4 kids age 10 and up and 2 dogs. Housebreaking: Accidents have slowed down but they still happen. Yesterday we were accident free right until bed time. Keeps crate dry, goes in without a fuss and sleeps until it’s time to get up. We are working on leash training. Doesn’t pull but doesn’t want to walk. He loves exploring the back yard. He’s very sweet. Loves to snuggle, be held like a baby and get pats on his belly. He has lots of energy but settles down when it’s time. Has a lot of fun playing with the other dogs and the kids. LOVES tug of war. There I was just a walking down the street - singing do wah diddy dum diddy do... Until the local law enforcement found me and brought me to Mag Mutts and my people never claimed me!   Warren H is estimated to be 2 years old and is looking for a new family (or foster home in the meantime)!  Since he is so young, obedience training would be wonderful for him.     We recommend training for all our dogs!     **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Rock came to us from a partnered shelter where he was sadly at risk of euthanasia due to lack of space—but thankfully, he got the chance he deserved. Born around June 13, 2025, Rock is a terrier/dachshund mix with an adorable long body and a soft, submissive personality. He’s a friendly, easygoing pup who gets along with everyone he meets, making him a great fit for many types of homes. Rock would truly love a family of his own where he can feel safe and loved. Rock did test positive for anaplasmosis (a tick-borne infection) and is currently undergoing treatment with doxycycline. This is a common and treatable condition, and he’s expected to do well with proper care. I’m Mario ❤️ I may be a little guy, but I’ve got a big heart, lots of love to give, and I’m very ready for my happily ever after. I came to rescue from a crowded shelter where I was running out of time, but thankfully I got my second chance — and now I’m hoping my forever family is next! I’m a super friendly boy who loves meeting people. New friends? Amazing. Familiar faces? Even better! I’m always happy to see you and usually come with a wagging tail and cheerful little smile. I really just enjoy being part of the fun and close to my people. I also get along with other dogs and currently share my kennel area with two other male dogs. I do especially well with female dogs, though, because I can sometimes get a little bossy with other boys. What can I say? I like to think I’m in charge sometimes. But overall, I’m still a very good boy and do just fine with proper introductions and respectful dog friends. I’m not sure how I do with cats or young kids yet, but I’ve shown everyone here what a sweet, happy companion I can be.
