Story
The owner of Arlo, Lainey and 4 other akc registered doxies was living in a rental home with 4 children and the landlord said the dogs had to go. Her mom took them while she was supposed to find another place to live but that did not happen. Her mom had 3 dogs of her own and was overwhelmed so she asked for help. All the dogs are sweet but we took Arlo and Lainey. These two are quite bonded so we are going to try to place them together. They are both spay/neutered, UTD on vaccines and HW negative, They will also be microchipped. In their original home, they were left on a self feeder and I am afraid Arlo overindulged but Lainey was able to keep her figure. They are both so so sweet and cute! They both Love cuddles and kisses! They both seem to be reliably housetrained. Arlo is a red pie bald and Lainey is a black and tan wirehaired doxie. Lainey was born on 9/10/2021 so she is 3 years old, Arlo is 4. This boy has really blossomed in the foster home. He was so withdrawn when he came in on transport from Missouri. But now he smiles and wags his tails and loves toys!!  He is discovering his second puppyhood!!  His vision and hearing are impaired so you will need to block any stairs so he doesn’t tumble down them. But he can handle 3 stairs on his own up and down. Any more than that intimidates him. He loves running around the yard but hates being on a leash.  He is mostly potty trained. He is a sweet boy who is looking for a home where his personality can bloom, and with someone who will spend time with him and help him shed a few pounds.  Billie Clyde is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and neutered.  This dog's family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing.  A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you are interested in adopting this dog, fill out an Online Application today!  Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.   Thank you for considering a rescue pet from A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation! They were not reclaimed during their hold with animal control, and due to space needed to be moved quickly, so we jumped in to help.
