Story
Fancy is a 5-year-old female Husky who must be spayed before adoption.  She came to PAHS as a stray who was brought in by county animal control.  Fancy's medium length coat is solid white and she has brilliant, beautiful blue eyes.  She weighs 63 pounds so she is a large dog.  Fancy is a typical Husky--very energetic and playful.  This breed is known to be the 'Houdini' of the dog world so she would need a SECURELY fenced yard where she could safely exercise and play.  Fancy would be good with other dogs and older children (older due to her activity level).  Come check this gorgeous girl out soon.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  December 9, 2023, 4:32 pm

Story
Hart is a 10-month-old male Black Lab mix who must be neutered before adoption.  He was brought in as a stray and no owner reclaimed him.  Hart is handsome as can be!  He is black with white markings; and his coat is so shiny and healthy looking.  Hart weighs 33 pounds so he is a medium sized adult dog.  He is friendly, sweet, and would be good with children.  We aren't sure if Hart would be good with other dogs but the staff would love to find out for you.  Please either come out and meet him between 11-4; or call our staff during those same hours, 334-358-2882, to learn more about this awesome dog!Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  December 9, 2023, 4:32 pm

Story
Daisy Mae is a 7-month-old female Terrier/Carolina Dog mix who has already been spayed.  She is brown with white toes; and her coat is growing back after a severe allergic reaction to fleas.  After being treated for fleas her coat is beginning to fill in and Daisy Mae is a real beauty!  She weighs approximately 30 pounds so she is on the small side of being a medium sized dog.  Daisy Mae is very active and playful; but she is a very sweet and friendly girl.  She will be fine with older children and she seems to be good with her dog friends at the shelter.  Daisy Mae is looking good and ready for a home!Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  December 9, 2023, 4:32 pm

Elmira is an 1-year-old female Shepherd/Husky mix who must be spayed before adoption.  She was brought to PAHS as a stray by city animal control.  Elmira has a black coat with light tan markings; she reminds us of both a German Shepherd and a Husky.  This lovely lady weighs 31 pounds and she is underweight; we are working on helping her gain weight.  Elmira is very responsive to kindness and any attention given to her.  She is sweet and friendly; and we believe she would be good with other dogs and children.  Elmira has the potential to be a wonderful addition to just about any family.  Come meet our awesome Elmira; we love her!Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  December 9, 2023, 4:32 pm

Story
Bella  is a 2-year-old female Great Dane who has already been spayed.  She came to PAHS as an owner turn in because she did not get along with other dogs in her home.  Bella is a stunningly beautiful girl who has a gray coat with black markings.  She currently weighs about 115 pounds and she needs to pick up a little weight.  Bella will need to have a very special adopter who is familiar with her breed.  This girl should NOT be in a home with other dogs or cats; Bella should be the only pet in her home.  She would also not be good with children.  Bella is very shy and seems to have some anxiety issues.  She is slowly warming up to our staff but she is very fearful when meeting new people. As we said, Bella will need a special adopter who is willing to work with her and be extremely patient with her.  If you would like to learn more about Bella, please call our staff between 11-4 at 334-358-2882.  Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  December 9, 2023, 4:32 pm
