Story
HI Biggies House Friends! Meet SooToo! Sootoo came to Biggie's House Senior rescue when his owner passed away. He has been with us for about 4 months while he has worked on some behavioral issues, but we find he is being a very good boy these days. He is ready for his forever family! SooToo would do best in a quiet house with one or two other dogs. We have no idea how he behaves around cats. He is most certainly NOT a family dog. By that I mean he isn't suitable for children. He does best bonding with one or two people and will never be that dog you "take places." He is great with people he knows and friendly with people he doesn't as long as you don't try to grab him. When he feels threatened, as in when you try to scoop him up, he can be snippy. He hasn't actually bitten anyone here, he just wants you to know he could and he might. He is interactive, just on his own terms. He needs people to respect his tiny dog dog boundaries. SooToo has a bad case of nerves. He needs you to move slowly with him. When you do that he is very affectionate. He will rub on you, let you pet him. Once he gains trust in you he will sit in your lap. He listens well and will come when you call. He doesn't enjoy being picked up. He actively tries to hide if he feels you are coming to lift him up. I think he fears being dropped. He tolerates being held, barely, but he growls and has a temper tantrum when you set him back down. I call his tantrums a case of the "huffle puffs." He groans, he stomps around, he has a wee chi fit. Then in a minute or two he calms down, is back to regular. He loves to be kissed on. He likes that more than petting. Despite his odd quirks we adore him, SooToo is really funny. He literally prances around the house. He is incredibly expressive with his feelings in a really charming way. He can be a real clown. He is great at getting up on the furniture. He loves to sleep in the bed with all of us. SooToo is a really sweet boy, he just needs an experienced, patient, chihuahua family to give him the attention and time he needs to blossom into an awesome pet! You will need to get him on a regular bathroom schedule at home. If you have another dog who is already on a schedule, he is great about following along and doing what the other dogs do. SooToo uses Pee pads in the house and is good about that. He marks when he comes into a new environment, but he knocks that off as soon as he is used the house. SooToo is in good health, neutered, 8 years old, and up to date on all his vaccinations. As you know chi's can live up to twenty years, so we expect he is middle aged for a chihuahua. He has had a recent dental and had several teeth removed. He got a solid bill of health from Dr. Smith at Stanton Animal Hospital Biggie's House is a 501c3 charity. That means we are completely non profit and every dime of his adoption fee goes to care of the senior dogs. If you would like to adopt SooToo Please fill out the application at Biggiesmallshouseofchi.com Here is the link for the adoption page. https://www.biggiesmallshouseofchi.com/adoptions then please email me at Biggiesmallshouseofchi@gmail.com and let me know your adoption application is complete. I will review your info, check your references, and get back to you. Any questions can also be sent to my email address.

Story
Above ground fenced yard. Applications at https://www.southcentralbloodhounds.org/adoption-1 Denham Springs LA area Jezzebelle was running loose for at least a month and had to be trapped. Though initially extremely timid and scared she has made a dramatic turn around and is showing us that at one time she had a family who spent time with her and loved her. She is, however, still quite afraid of men and is going to have to be with a family who understands she will need time and space, as well as effort to overcome that fear. She absolutely loves going for car rides and walks. She loves toys and play. She is very affectionate once she has met you. She has the right stuff to make a wonderful family pet and just needs the family who is willing to take her into their hearts so she can open hers.

Story
Hello my name is Boo, I am a 2.5 year pyrenees/put/lab mutt. I am very loyal and would great in a one person house with a dog friend or as a lone companion. I am a healthy boy who is up to date on all my shots and vaccines. I am house trained and I know my basic commands such as sit, stay, and I come running when you call my name! I don't get tired on the leash so I will need a large yard with a tall fence or somewhere rural or woodsy. I get nervous meeting new people and new dogs so Intentional introductions work best. I am great at relaxing after I have had plenty of exercise. I have A LOT of love to give, and I am looking for someone who is ready to love and be loved fully!
