Story
Buddy is a 3½-year-old Dalmatian/Lab mix with love and loyalty just waiting to be shared. He is partially deaf, which makes him uniquely special and in need of a patient adopter willing to learn and use special communication with him. With the right person, Buddy can thrive and build an incredible bond. Buddy gets along with some dogs, but not all, and would do best as the only dog in the home. After spending the last year and a half in the shelter, he’s ready to soak up all the love and attention he’s missed and truly be someone’s one-and-only. He can be protective of the person he loves, so a quiet, calm home with a single owner would be ideal for him. There are a few boxes to check for Buddy — but we know the right person is out there. When Buddy finds his perfect home, he will be a loyal companion for life. Apply to adopt Buddy at HeberSpringsHumaneSociety.com Buddy’s adoption fee is $50.00 and includes first vaccinations, rabies, worming, microchipping and neuter. We have a dog park to check compatibility with existing dogs if needed. Fill out an adoption application at heberspringshumanesociety.com and a volunteer will contact you. The adoption application is NOT on Adopt a Pet. You must apply on our Heber Springs Humane Society website.
