Story
Meet Lucy - The Gentle Giant with a Heart of GoldLucy is a 2-year-old Irish Wolfhound/Pyrenees mix who has completely stolen the hearts of our staff. She came to us after being surrendered in very rough shape, with serious wounds and injuries from being attacked by other dogs. Despite everything she's been through, Lucy's spirit shines bright-she is sweet, gentle, and full of love.Lucy is on the mend and still receiving vet care, but she's making incredible progress. She does have a few special considerations her future family will need to understand:Mild CCL tears: Thankfully, Lucy hasn't shown discomfort, but her new family will need to respect her activity restrictions to keep her healthy.Dental care: Lucy came in with some broken teeth and needed these removed. This means no hard chew toys for this pretty girl!Through it all, Lucy has remained calm, affectionate, and resilient. She's looking for a family who will give her the love and care she deserves-a safe, gentle home where she can heal and thrive. If you're ready to open your heart to a truly special dog, Lucy is waiting to meet you. Fill out an application today and let's give this amazing girl the forever home she's been dreaming of.*Please note - Dog meets are by appointment only. If you are interested in meeting Lucy, the first step is to complete your online application. Staff will contact the approved applicant to discuss further. Story
Hey Chilliwack!Guess who just rolled into town? That's right-Stitch here! I'm about 4 years old, a Jack Russell mix, and let me tell you, I've got all the classic Jack Russell traits: cute as a button, attitude for miles, and energy that just doesn't quit. If you're looking for a couch potato, keep scrolling-because I'm more of a "let's go, let's play, let's conquer the world" kind of guy. Now, full disclosure: I've got a little quirk. Somewhere along the way, I broke my leg and didn't get the proper vet care I needed. It healed up on its own, which means I've got a slight limp and an awkward gait. But does that slow me down? Ha! Not a chance. I'm still ready to run, jump, and live life to the fullest.I heard Chilliwack was the place to be, so I hitched a ride down with my buddy Greg in hopes of finding my forever home. If you're ready for a spirited little guy with a big personality (and a story to tell), fill out an application and let's make this happen!*Please note - Dog meets are by appointment only. If you are interested in meeting Stitch, the first step is to complete your online application. ***We do expect a high number of applications for Stitch. Applications will be reviewed in order received and Staff will contact the approved applicant to discuss further. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 4.6 Age: 4yrs 1mths 1wks

Story
Meet TysonTyson has had a very challenging journey, he is a good dog who simply needs a home that understands his limits and respects his pace.Tyson is best suited for a quiet, well‑structured environment with predictable routines. He enjoys being with his people but is not an active dog. He can be reactive at times, but he responds well to calm redirection and does best with soft voices and low‑stress handling.Tyson should be the only furry family member in the home. He thrives when he can relax without the pressure of other pets or busy household traffic. A steady, peaceful home will set him up for success. We want to ensure Tyson finally finds the right match, and we are more than happy to discuss all of Tyson's needs with any interested adopters. As well, interested adopters would be required to have a consult with our Behaviour & Welfare Team.If you can offer Tyson a calm, consistent "retirement" home where he can feel safe and understood, he may be the companion you've been looking for. *Please note - Dog meets are by appointment only. If you are interested in meeting Tyson, the first step is to complete your online application. Staff will contact the approved applicant to discuss further. Story
Hi friends! My name is Milly, and I'm a 1-year-old St. Bernard mix looking for a patient and loving home.I haven't had much socialization, so I can be pretty fearful around other dogs. Patience will be the key to helping me learn and feel safe. The good news? I really like people! That's a big plus, and I'm still young-so with time, kindness, and guidance, I'll try my hardest to be the best girl for you.If you have a big heart and a little extra patience, I'd love the chance to grow and thrive by your side.Love, Milly 🐾*Please note - Dog meets are by appointment only. If you are interested in meeting Milly, the first step is to complete your online application. Staff will contact the approved applicant to discuss further.
