Meet Lucy - The Gentle Giant with a Heart of GoldLucy is a 2-year-old Irish Wolfhound/Pyrenees mix who has completely stolen the hearts of our staff. She came to us after being surrendered in very rough shape, with serious wounds and injuries from being attacked by other dogs. Despite everything she's been through, Lucy's spirit shines bright-she is sweet, gentle, and full of love.Lucy is on the mend and still receiving vet care, but she's making incredible progress. She does have a few special considerations her future family will need to understand:Mild CCL tears: Thankfully, Lucy hasn't shown discomfort, but her new family will need to respect her activity restrictions to keep her healthy.Dental care: Lucy came in with some broken teeth and needed these removed. This means no hard chew toys for this pretty girl!Through it all, Lucy has remained calm, affectionate, and resilient. She's looking for a family who will give her the love and care she deserves-a safe, gentle home where she can heal and thrive.If you're ready to open your heart to a truly special dog, Lucy is waiting to meet you.
