Story
Meet Hank - A Special Boy Ready for His Next ChapterHi friends, I'm Hank, a 6-month-old pup who's as sweet as they come. The team thinks I might be a mix of Vizsla and Whippet (fancy, right?), but what we know for sure is that I'm absolutely amazing.Life threw me a curveball early on-I came into care with a badly broken leg. Pretty rough when you're just a puppy! But thanks to incredible vets and lots of TLC, I had surgery and I'm on the road to a full recovery. Soon, I'll be running like the wind again!Pictures don't do me justice-I'm even more handsome in person. Because I'm still healing, I'll need to go home in a foster-to-adopt arrangement. That means my new family will continue my care and vet visits (all booked by the Centre) while I settle in. Once I'm cleared by the vet, the adoption can be finalized. The best part? I can start my new journey with you right now-no waiting!***Important: While I recover, I'll need to be on a strict low-impact plan-no stairs, no jumping, and no exceptions. This is to make sure my leg heals perfectly so I can enjoy a happy, active life later.***I've shown I'm great meeting other dogs, big and small, and I'm ready to find a home where I'll be showered with love. Do you have a place in your heart (and home) for this special boy?Come meet Hank-he's ready to turn the page and start his happily ever after with you. Story
Hello future best friends! My name is Oliver, but my pals call me Olly. I'm a 10-month-old mix pup-think Lab, Staffy, maybe even a dash of Corso-but one thing's for sure: I'm 100% good boy.I haven't had the best start in life, so I'm looking for someone who can give me what I've been missing-love, patience, and a little life "experience." The amazing team here has already taken me to the vet for a full check-up, and an incredible foster treated me to a spa day so I could shed some of my past (and a badly needed nail trim!).Now, it's time to turn the page and start my new journey-a journey filled with cuddles, adventures, and never looking back. Are you up for the adventure?Come meet Olly-your new best friend is waiting! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 17.4 Age: 0yrs 10mths 1wks

Story
My girl Raven is a 3 year old low content Hybrid Wolfdog mix with Border Collie and Aussie Shepherd. She is a sweetheart and relaxed. She loves her scratches and has lots of personality. When I lived on a bigger property she would patrol the edge and come back when called without leaving home base. She has a big protective bark and the typical herding traits. She is extremely food motivated which makes training easy. She prefers to be walked at night or in places which aren't busy as she can get overwhelmed quickly. The reason I need to rehome her is that I am having a child soon and it wont be the right environment for her anymore. Raven would do well in a home where she is the ONLY DOG...as she is very food obsessed and tends to resource guard.

Story
Meet Marigold!this darling wants to meet anyone and everyone. Marigold lights up every room with her smiles and butt wiggles. She is a bit of a counter surfer but other than that she is well mannered. Marigold gets along with dogs kids and new people, but we believe she isn't socialized around cats so she has growled at them a few times. She would live a busy or quiet home, lots of snuggles, roughhouse playtime, and the doggy play dates. Her adopter will need to give her positive associations with the car, she tents to tremble and freeze near/in them.If you are interested in Marigold, please come into the Maple Ridge SPCA any day 1-4pm or call to book an appointment. Story
Meet Cooby 🐾Looking for a gentle soul to share your quiet world? Cooby might be your perfect match.Cooby is a sweet, shy boy whose past is a bit of a mystery. He came to us severely malnourished and understandably anxious, but he's been making slow and steady progress with the help of a specialized feeding plan and anxiety medication.Cooby is looking for a calm, patient home where he can take his time to feel safe and loved. He may need to meet potential adopters a few times before he's ready to take the next step - and that's okay. Trust takes time, and Cooby is worth the wait. He's still a bit nervous in busy or loud environments, so a quiet home with a secure, fenced yard would be ideal. Right now, he's considered a flight risk, so safety is a top priority. If you think you could be the steady, reassuring presence Cooby needs, we'd love to introduce you. Please stop by or call us to schedule a meet and greet. Our visiting hours are from 1-4 PM daily.Let's help Cooby find the peace and love he deserves. 💙 Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 26.5 Age: 2yrs 2mths 0wks
