Story
Ruby is a lovely girl that gets excited to meet new people and will need some training on jumping up. She is super friendly, wiggly and loves to play. She is crate trained and knows basic commands. Ruby has successfully lived with cats that do not mind her energy and she is playful with other dogs.Ruby is a ball of exergy and has the typical Coonhound breed traits. She will need a specific home experienced with her breed. Lot's of exercise and brain stimulation is a must to keep her and similar dogs of this breed from becoming bored which often leads to unwanted behaviours. If you think you might be the right fit for this very happy puppy, please give us a ring. Story
We are heavy hearted to part with our sweet Marlo. She is a 3 year old Maremma-Pyrenees-Akbash mix from the Kootenays. She needs wide open spaces as a livestock guardian breed, the ability to roam and protect her loved ones. She loves other dogs, but is unsure of children and does not like cats. She has not worked around livestock, but we feel can be trained as she gaurds our property well already. Marlo is loyal and loving to those she trusts and gets to know slowly. She is a huge cuddle bug, loves pets and snuggles, but is head shy around people she doesn't know. Slow introductions in calm environments are necessary. She requires a mature home that has experience with livestock guardian breeds & understands their protective manner. We have made the very hard and sad decision to rehome her because she has always been overly protective of myself, but not my partner however. Please feel free to reach out for more info.
