Story
Bailey is a 3 old purebred German Shepherd that has been certified by the AKC. She is spayed and is in excellent health. She has all her required vaccinations and is regularly dewormed. Bailey is very sweet that everyone who meets her adores her. She is very friendly and well trained. She never had a tendency to bite or bother neighbors. Her only drawback is that she gets very excited at the sight of dogs and skateboards and may bark. But she won't bite other dogs(she just wants to play). For skateboards, and I consulted an expert who said sheepdog instinct to get nervous when something moves fast and makes noises. Once the skateboard passes, she stops barking. She won’t excrete inside house. Also, she knows lots of order such as sit, down, wait, turnaround, and so on. I prefer a family with a fenced yard, which allow her to play by herself in the yard to support her exercise. If you are interested in raising bailey, we can set up a time to meet her at your house. We are in Chicago.

Story
Are you ready to meet your one and only "Man's best friend"? Come on by and say hi to Leonardo! Leo is a very affectionate boy, and smart as a whip. Leo does have to be the only dog, but trust us when we say he has the affection to make up for it. Leo is a lover and has never met a stranger! He'd love to be at your side and with you every step of the way. He has lived with both cats and kids in the past, and done great with both! He's currently working on regrowing his hair from an allergy breakout, and getting more handsome by the day. Don't hesitate to stop in and say hello to him! Leonardo is a STAFF FAVORITE pet! Here's what our Volunteer Coordinator, Sarah, has to say about him: "Have you ever met a dog who just instantly brightens your day with their wiggly butt and big, slobbery smile? The feeling is unmatched, and that’s exactly the vibe Leonardo, or “Leo” for short, brings to the table! Leo has become my unofficial “teaching assistant” (he really does most of the work) while training new dog walking volunteers and joins me at almost every training session. During this time, I have learned that, not only is Leo incredibly fun to be around, but also that he is incredibly smart, treat-motivated, and loves meeting new people! No matter the size of the group, Leo will enthusiastically prance right up to each volunteer and introduce himself, sitting patiently for a treat and a pat. He’s a master at “Sit” and “Down”, which can be a tough cue for dogs to learn, and he continues to pick up new skills every day with support from our staff and volunteers. Leo is an energetic guy, but he has learned to sit to say “please,” and he keeps making great progress daily as he works on his basic manners. If you are looking for a dog who is smart, fun, and people-oriented, Leo just may be the guy for you!"

Story
Harry is a 1 year old Retriever/Labrador mix. He has lived peacefully with kids and cats but is selective about his choice of canine companion. He's very smart and friendly, but gets nervous in new environments. Harry will tuck himself between your legs during walks to make sure he's as close to you as possible. He's a very good boy but could use someone who has time to make him feel comfortable. Come by and meet Harry today!
