Story
Pokie is a sweet little Chihuahua who has spent her life with her current owner in an assisted living facility. There isn't a person around her, nursing staff, residents, or visitors, who does not love her. After her current mom's declining health problems, it has become necessary for her to find a new and loving home. We are not sure how she is with other dogs or cats, but we know that once she gets to know you, you are her best friend. She is a great lap dog but also loves the occasional walk outside and playing with toys on her mom's lap. She is currently around 3 and 1/2 years old.

Story
Sebastian is an incredibly loving dog that needs a home with people that have time and energy for him. He loves to run around so a backyard would be great for him. He loves our cats and is a big fan of playing with other dogs. He can be a bit anxious about people, and has some guard dog tendencies around where we live (will bark and growl at people). He loves treats and chew toys but will tear up any stuffed toy impressively fast. He's a big cuddle bug and loves to lay in bed with his people.

Story
I got my pet about two months ago. I play college sports and I don’t want to seem like I’m neglecting him cause I’m never home so I just wanna find him a good home. That’s why the adoption fee isn’t so high it could be lower as well, he could have them for free if you wanted him but yeah I just I don’t. I don’t wanna seem like I’m neglecting him because I’m not home so.

Story
Meet Buckley! Buckley is a 5-year-old male Great Dane/Hound mix available for adoption. He is an energetic, playful, and curious dog who loves to learn new tricks for treats! Buckley needs to be the only dog in the home so he can get all the attention he deserves. He would also do best in a home with children over the age of 10, as he can be a bit unsure around younger kids. Buckley is such a great dog that he's one of our Doggie Day Out candidates! He loves to hop in the car and enjoy the ride, so you'll never have trouble getting him to join you for an adventure. If Buckley sounds like the perfect fit for your family, come meet him at CCHS!

Story
Meet Zeus! Zeus is a 1-year-old male Pit Bull Terrier with an energetic, playful, and friendly personality. He’s intelligent, loves learning new tricks, and is always ready for a game of tug! Zeus has done well with kids, but he would prefer to be the only dog in the home so he can soak up all the love and attention. Because he has plenty of energy to burn, Zeus would thrive with an active family who can keep him busy with playtime, training, and adventures. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who’s ready to learn and make memories, come meet Zeus at CCHS today!
