Story
Jack is a sweet senior dog, around 12 years old, looking for a loving home after his owner suffered a serious fall and can no longer care for him. He’s happiest simply being near his people — snoozing on the couch, following you from room to room, and soaking up back scratches and pets.Jack still has a playful side! He loves fetch, barking at squirrels, and solving treat puzzles like a pro. Though he spent most of his life as an only dog, he’s currently thriving in a foster home with another dog and enjoys the farmer's market.Jack was rescued years ago after experiencing neglect and abuse early in life. With love and training, he’s become a gentle, loyal companion. He can be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly, especially if treats are involved. If you’re looking for a quiet, loving best friend to keep you company, Jack is ready to meet you.

Story
Sebastian is an incredibly loving dog that needs a home with people that have time and energy for him. He loves to run around so a backyard would be great for him. He loves our cats and is a big fan of playing with other dogs. He can be a bit anxious about people, and has some guard dog tendencies around where we live (will bark and growl at people). He loves treats and chew toys but will tear up any stuffed toy impressively fast. He's a big cuddle bug and loves to lay in bed with his people.

Story
Meet Aries! Aries is a 2-year-old Pitbull Terrier available for adoption at CCHS! Aries is a spunky boy packed full of energy, and has a great history with small children. At our facility, Aries has been apart of our puppy playgroups! Aries LOVES other female companions, and can be selective about other male dogs. Aries favorite past time activities are going for walks, playing with toys, and saying hi to all his favorite human companions. If you think this Greek god would be the perfect pairing for you, stop by and meet with Aries! Aries is a STAFF FAVORITE PET! Here's what Humane Educator and Investigator Maiah, has to say about him: "Aries has been an absolute treat to be around since he got here. He would always greet me very politely in his kennel, sitting with his tail going wild as he tries keeping a stoic presence. After a few times of seeing it, I knew I had to take him for a walk! When taking him on a walk for the first time, his very funny personality started letting loose. He's bubbly, go lucky, and a breath of energy. Aries would make a great companion for any family, I got to witness firsthand his gentle demeanor with smaller children and the way he adapts to other new faces. During closing, I typically find Aries all snuggled up in his blanket ready for bed and it is the sweetest sight to see along with his bbiigggggg stretch after being lazy. He is the perfect mix of homebody and adventure! If you're looking for fun and leisure, I plead you don't pass up Aries!"
