Story

Brody is a distinguished gentleman who would make the PERFECT family dog! He is estimated to be around 6- 7 years old. His DNA results show he is a Boxer/Hound/Lab mix. Brody is UTD on his yearly vaccinations, heart worm free, neutered, and microchipped. He is so grateful to be in a home with comfort and love, and is looking for the right family to welcome him. His personality is laid back with occasional playfulness, and sometimes he likes to “talk;” but mostly Brody loves to be held. His favorite activities are cuddling on the couch, going on walks, and riding in the car. He LOVES to go on car rides!! ?? Brody crates well when his foster mom is gone for long periods of time, sleeps on a dog bed in the living room, and has learned to play nicely with toys. Brody has been to both Lowe’s and TSC and was a perfect gentleman every time!! Brody does well with children, adults, and both male and female dogs. He isn’t a fan of cats, so he’s looking for a “cat free” family. He's just a gem of a fella and he deserves a loving family to call his own. Oakley is the sweetest and most lovable boy! He is looking to be your very best adventure buddy! He’s is a big ball of energy that loves to walk, run, and go on any adventure you can think of. He loves to play with his toys and going on car rides! Oakley is in need of an active family. He is an amazing boy that loves everyone he meets. He gets very excited when he sees new or familiar friends. :) The love this boy gives will not disappoint! Oakley would love to have a family all to himself because he LOVES all the attention; he thinks he should be the only dog who gets your love! He does get along with other dogs after a proper introduction. He would be a great family dog for an active family, and will do best with older children (8+) because of his size and energy. He is interested in cats but does well with them after a proper introduction. Oakley is a beautiful, mixed breed boy--his foster mom send in a DNA test and found 16 breeds! He's got all kinds of dogs in him, including Lab, Boxer, Brittany Spaniel, Bloodhound, German Shepherd, Staffordshire Terrier and Pit Bull. Even a little Saint Bernard and Rhodesian Ridgeback! We think he's a great combo of all of them! Oakley is both crate and potty trained, and he walks politely on a leash without pulling He needs to join a household that has a fenced in backyard so he can run and play. Oakley loves to snuggle with people and would happily sleep in your bed if you so desired :) Oakley has been neutered, microchipped, is UTD on all vaccinations, and receives monthly flea, tick, and heart worm preventative. We pull dogs from the local shelter and place them into temporary homes until we can find them forever homes. The more foster homes we have, the more dogs we can save. There are more than 6 MILLION dogs and cats euthanized every year. We cannot make a difference alone. We need you to open your home to a dog that would otherwise be euthanized. SENIORMeet Rose! Rose is a 10 year old Hound mix. Rose is a really sweet girl! Rose needs a home that is dedicated to working with her. She craves love and attention, as she really aims to please and wants to work for you! She would need slow introductions with other dogs, as she is an alpha female, and not recommended for a home with cats or dogs (until fully trained). It would be best to have an experienced, strong person. She would take very well to training and it is highly recommended. Because of her hound nose, she would not be allowed liberty until full trained, and she loves to run and might wander off a track! Meet Stormy! Stormy is a 11 year old Shepherd mix. Stormy is a very social dog, with a high prey drive and easily motivated! She needs an experienced owner, lots of exercise, both physical and mental. She needs to be a ONLY PET. She will need training, but is very intelligent and would take to training with zest! She would make a great dog for SCENT DETECTION, agility, flyball, lure coursing and obedience. You name it, she would love it. She is CRAVING a job!
