Story
Koe was adopted from the Tuscaloosa animal shelter. When we adopted him, they told us he was used as a bait dog (thus the missing eye and various scars on his body). Koe acquired heart worms in the shelter (which he has been treated for and recovered from) and has also been hit by a car in the time he’s been here on earth. He’s been through a lot. He is so so sweet with people that he trusts but is aggressive to those he does not know. The person who adopts him will have to be patient, but they will acquire a loving and protective dog. It breaks our heart to have to rehome him but he has started to show signs of aggression to our child so we are doing what we feel is right for our family and for Koe. Please reach out to me if you have any questions. He is truly a sweet dog at heart, just needs some training and patience. We do not want to have to bring him back to a shelter after he spent four years with us and would love for him to go to a loving family.

Cocoa is in Hopkinsville, KY. She is under 2 years old, good with strangers, kids, dogs, & cats. She needs a active home with kids or someone that can give her a lot of attention. She needs a fenced yard as she is a fence jumper! Other dogs are a plus because she needs the play time. You will not find a more affectionate dog. Story
Things we know about him ❤️ ✔️ Warm and loving temperament 🐶 Is dog selective 🥰 Enjoys hugs and cuddles... And his ball 🐾 Average Energy 👦 He loves children 🐱 Does not like cats His favorite thing in life is his ball. He loves to play ball by himself and with others. He was bred to guard livestock. He's laid back/ easy going (not an extremely needy dog due to his breeding). In our opinion, he would do very well as an outside dog, as long as he is brought in during extreme conditions. Blu is dog selective. He does well with dogs who are not playful. Blu is great with adults and kids over 5-6 years old. He walks well on a leash. He is up to date on shots, neutered and heartworm negative.
