Story
We acquired Doogie from our son who bred AKC Labradors for hunting/family dogs. He has been our farm/pet for many years, and we love him dearly, but as our age has advanced and health declined we aren't able to give him the exercise and attention he needs to thrive. Doogie is a sweetheart who is accustomed to a primarily outdoor lifestyle. While has has lived most of his life with other labs and small dogs on the farm, he was always housed separately. The other dogs have all moved away with our children, and he is alone now. He has never had an issue with our other dogs, but given that he was always housed separately I would want a new prospective family to be aware of this. He has always played and had fun with other big dogs, and mostly ignored or played with smaller dogs. He is 9 years old, but still in great health and energy. His mother lived to nearly 12 and his father is still living and healthy at 12 years old. AKC can be provided if desired. He is not fixed.

Story
Annie was a single mom of...eight!!! Her kids have all moved away and now she is looking for a real and lasting relationship. She is a super snuggly character who is one of the most loving dogs we have ever met!! Annie hasn't forgotten her hungry start and still loves to steal food left unattended haha. Attributes: -SWEETEST girl! -loves children -does well with dogs after proper introduction -playful with other dogs -housebroken & crate-trained -used to invisible fence -Ridgeback/Shepherd/possibly terrier -calm personality around the house! Considerations: - probably no toy dogs - may not mesh well with an Alpha female canine

Daisy Jane is… A world class snuggler Smart & food motivated Affectionate & playful Medium energy Approx 2-3 years old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Amstaff and ?? and loves a good game of FETCH! We rescued this cutie from a rural animal control here in middle TN when her time ran out. She does well in her room when her foster dad is at work and will couch cuddle all weekend if you let her! She loves sleeping in bed at night. She would do well with a fenced yard but currently does not have one. She loves to play with other dogs at the dog park but could have a doggie friend or not in the home- in some ways she really likes having her human to herself at home! She has had fun playing with young nephews of her foster. She also is amazing is the car and has traveled to several states on trips with her foster dad!

Story
PARKER (TENNESSEE) Parker is a 12 year old 4 pound yorkie boy who is being fostered near Ashland City, TN. Parker is doing so much better since coming into rescue. His skin is all cleared up and his coat his healthy and shiny. He will still need regular medicated baths. Parker did have his dental and lost a few teeth he developed an infection of the salivary gland but has taken some antibiotics and is all healed up from that now. During the dental the Dogtor did a tear test and discovered that Parker does have dry eye syndrome and will need to be on an medication for this for life. He has been diagnosed with early Stage B2 Chronic degenerative valve disease since coming into rescue. At this stage of the disease he will be treated with a medication called pimobendan (Vetmiden). This medication has shown to slow down further progression of the disease and prolong the time until the development of congestive heart failure. Parker has no fluid buildup at this time and he has not yet gone into congestive heart failure. He will need a recheck in July with the Cardiologist. Parker is the sweetest, smartest little fellow. He is pad trained, rides quietly in his crate in the car and he gets along with other dogs. He loves sleeping in his own bed and eats his food right up. He only barks when the other dogs bark. Parker does require a special adopter who understands his medical needs to give him the proper care he needs to live his best life. He is adoptable and has a lot of love left to give. Email foster mom with any questions at mandymsmith1@yahoo.com if you would like to fill out an application go to www.uyr.us also to read Parker’s previous bio’s to understand his journey since coming into rescue.

Story
Sweet Bentley is a 6 months old Border Collie mix but apparently he looks more like his father, who was dumped at the shelter with his three siblings. Bentley was really shy when he got to his foster home but quickly turned into a happy-go-lucky pup who loves to run, play, eat and definitely treats. He's been good with other dogs, has not been around cats or children. Bentley is around 25 lb maybe a little more. He is looking to find his happy ever after who will give him the life he deserves. I cannot say good enough things about this precious boy. Bentley and his brother love to play tug of war and with stuffed animals. He is really good about going potty right after he eats and he is a very clean little fella. Up to date on all vaccinations and also microchipped. If you are interested in giving this sweet boy a forever home please fill out our application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $50 neuter deposit which will be refunded upon proof of neuter and a $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
