Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet our newest intake Slugger! We pulled Slugger from Eastern Shore Regional Animal Control Facility Melfa as he is an amazing good dog who was in imminent danger of euthanasia due to lack of space and so many incoming dogs. Slugger is good with people, and friendly with other dogs, and was non reactive to cats when walked through the cat room. Despite his muscular body and big mouth Slugger is sweet, gentle and respectful. He is about a year old and full of comical goofy energy. There is no feeling down around this boy. He will put a smile on your face every time you look at him. His happy, jolly energy is infectious! He was neutered mid September and completed his shots and got his microchip at the same time. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. When at Worcester Animal Control working on other dogs, I unexpectedly met this incredibly sweet dog. There was no way I could leave her behind. The top and bottom center pics are pics from the day I met Princess. Princess is one of the kindest, most gentle, sweet, loving, grateful dogs I have ever met. She is dog friendly and loves people. Princess is now 41 lbs, and the vet estimated her as 5 years old. I think she is a collie mix. Princess has a sad story. She was locked in a basement and severely neglected. She escaped the basement and ran over to a neighbor to play with the neighbor’s dog. The neighbor shocked at her condition immediately called Worcester County Animal Control. Princess was emaciated, almost totally hairless, covered with thousands of fleas, had severe bilateral ear infections and secondary skin infections. AC immediately took her to the vet and began treatment. After 2 weeks of treatment, Princess has improved greatly. Her fur is regrowing, infections are eradicated and she has gained over 4 lbs. Princess has a long way to go before she is ready for adoption, but we thought you would like to meet her and follow her progress. Princess will be gorgeous once she is fully recovered! Her outside will match her beautiful heart! Princess is exceptionally sweet and I am so grateful to be able to help her and also to Worcester Animal Control for taking good care of her. They gave her daily baths and multiple medications for 2 weeks.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 11, 2024, 8:34 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Kindness Matters Rescue has been super busy lately. Here is another of our intakes -Bingo We are helping with a county case in which many beagles needed rehoming. Bingo is a sweet female beagle who enjoys the company of other dogs, people and even cats. She is being fostered in a private home with other dogs and cats. If you think you are that perfect home for Bingo, please fill out an application. We can’t do what we do without your support. Vetting costs are high with all our intakes and especially because many of our intakes need more than the standard rescue veterinary care. We have a pay pal link and also accept old fashioned checks or cash.
