Story
Petey Pablo is the kind of dog that brings the party with him wherever he goes. He can start out a little high energy because he is so excited to see his people, but once the initial celebration is over he settles right in and becomes a professional couch potato. Most evenings you will find him watching TV from the couch like he pays the cable bill. This funny little guy loves toys, blankets, and empty water bottles which apparently are the greatest invention in the world according to Petey. He enjoys car rides and is a fantastic passenger, just happy to tag along for the adventure. He walks nicely on a leash, plays a solid game of fetch, and has even gone on some pretty advanced hikes where he did great. If there is an outing happening, Petey wants in. Petey is house trained, crate trained, and can also be trusted left out of the crate. He knows how to use a dog door and has excellent house manners. He is extremely food motivated which makes training easier and snacks his favorite love language. He absolutely loves people and has never met a stranger. Because he gets so excited when greeting people, he would do best with children over 10 or in an adult home that can appreciate his enthusiastic personality. When it comes to other dogs and food, Petey prefers to dine like a king at his own table. He can be a bit of a bully around food, so feeding him separately keeps everyone happy and drama free. Petey Pablo is goofy, affectionate, and packed with personality. If you are looking for a dog that will make you laugh every day and be your little sidekick for adventures and couch time, Petey is your guy. Adoption fee is $400 and covers neuter, vaccinations, parasite prevention, and microchip. Apply to adopt at fullcirclerescueandsanctuary.com

Story
Stormin’ Norman is the perfect mix of laid back couch potato and weekend adventure buddy. His favorite hobby is relaxing on a soft blanket like the king of the living room, but if you say the words “let’s go,” he’s ready to roll. Norman loves walks and is a total gentleman on the leash. He also enjoys lake days and water fun. He’s not exactly Michael Phelps in the swimming department, so a life vest is a smart choice, but he happily rides along on a kayak like a seasoned little captain. Boat rides and car rides are two of his favorite things and he behaves like a perfect gentleman for both. Toys are a big hit with Norman, especially tennis balls. Toss one and he’ll fetch like a pro. When playtime is over he’s more than happy to go back to his true calling in life, professional couch lounging. Norman knows basic commands like sit and stay. He is a little hard of hearing, so pointing works great and he catches on quickly. He is house trained, crate trained, and can be trusted to free roam the house without redecorating or chewing up your favorite shoes. He also knows how to use a dog door like a champ. Norman loves people and has never met a stranger. He has done well around other animals and has never shown aggression toward them, although bugs seem to be his personal sworn enemies. He has only been around children over five years old. He does have a sensitive tummy when it comes to table scraps. Too much people food will turn him into a little gas machine, but a small piece of cheese is perfectly acceptable in his book. If you are looking for a sweet, easy going companion who can chill on the couch, ride shotgun in the car, and join you for lake adventures, Norman is your guy. Norman’s $300 adoption fee covers neuter, vaccines, parasite prevention and microchip. Apply to adopt at fullcirclerescueandsanctuary.com.

Story
Hartman is a strong little pup in every way.  He is a Red Heeler through and through! Found with his Momma Red Heeler on a isolated country backroad in Middle Tennessee, he was part of a litter of 6 pups who were only 3.5 pounds when found..  Probably 4-5 weeks old.  That was Feb. 13th, 2026.  This little family was heartlessly dropped off for reasons the good humans in this world cannot understand.   The good samaritan who found them was kind enough to bring them to the already crowded rural shelter and within 2 days they were in the care of a wonderful Critter Cavalry Rescue foster home who helps with litters like this.  We have determined that perhaps the litter was born around the first of January 2025.  The story behind this throw away pure bred Red Heeler momma and her puppies will never be known but the future of their story will be shaped by Critter Cavalry's efforts to help raise these puppies in foster homes and find the puppies and their momma find perfect Heeler loving homes. This smart, energetic pup loves to be in the middle of the action and has already started showing off his natural herding instincts—he’s been known to help “round up” the kids in the yard.  Gently but with a purpose.  Some parents need the help and welcome it.  Others might not and the puppy can be shown that humans do not need the herding help.  Hartman was named this because he has a beautiful and perfect heart shaped spot on the top of his head.  As of March 6th he is 8 pounds and one day should be only 35 pounds tops.  So cute!  What his foster mom says, is that he would thrive in an active home, especially one with plenty of space to run and explore. A big yard or property where he can have a job would be a dream come true for this clever boy. Heelers are known for their intelligence, and Hartman is no exception—he’s eager to learn and loves to please his people.   After a good play session, Hartman is more than happy to settle in for some couch time and soak up all the affection he can get. He’s a sweet, loyal companion who enjoys being close to his humans. Hartman is currently being fostered with young kids, large dogs, and a cat. He’s done well with everyone so far, though he’s still a little unsure about the cat and may bark. With proper introductions and a dog-savvy cat, we think he’ll adjust just fine. If you’re looking for a handsome pup who is smart, loyal and ready for adventure—and cuddles—Hartman might be your perfect match!  Please contact us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    We can adopt to Tennessee residents where he is fostered and we also transport to the northeast as well to families outside of Tennessee.  We transport most weekends.  Out of state adoptions will be ready around April 10th.      PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 9, 2026, 6:34 pm

Story
Occasionally we get in some rare little pups that you wonder why they are so well behaved.  We know they haven't really had any formal training or real attention in their early life.  Well Arch is one of those rare boy puppies who we have found to be all the things rolled up in to one gorgeous, special young puppy.  Born December 8th we are told, this handsome brindle little man is a combination of Beagle and Mountain Cur.  The interesting physical element to this good looking boy is that he has the softest, velvety fur that just makes you wan to stroke his head and all the way down his back .  He is just a bright and loving little guy who jumps around like a little bunny when excited to see you.  He is not a runner and just follows you around the yard and when you say to come in he comes a-runnin'.  His recall is great and he knows his name immediately.  So smart!!! He is learning how to walk on a leash and how to wear a collar for the first time at just 3 months of age.  He is snuggly, fearless and runs amongst the BIG dogs in the foster home and endures the small old ladies who don't appreciate his enthusiasm for life.  He never gets his feelings hurt.  He is learning the pee pad and also what outside bathroom breaks are all about.  He is alert and inquisitive and loves to burrow under the covers on the sofa on in your bed.  He loves bedroom shoes and will gather his foster mom's in his dog bed as a collection that he is so proud to have with him.  He is crate trained and does well almost all night.  Hungry?  You bed he is ......he loves his food and this should be used for training purposes.  He is always interested in what your are eating too!!!      So let's say that if you want a perfect puppy and one that you might not have to have a fenced yard for....then Arch is your guy.  We expect him to be a 35 or maybe 40 pound adult dog.  Depends on if the Beagle side kicks in.  His fee are not big and at 3 months he is just 11 pounds.  Don't hesitate to give this boy some deep thought and consideration.  He is so handsome and will be a once in a lifetime companion.  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Please state where you live:  city and state.   We can adopt to Tennessee residents where the rescue originates and we also can transport him to the northeastern corridor of states on a certificated animal transport carrier/van.  He is ready March 20th   He will be neutered and all shots done and microchipped and dewormed.
