Story
Rory - Lovely, Smiley, SweetSome dogs brighten even the gloomiest days, and Rory is one of them. She arrived as a stray on a cold, rainy afternoon, soaked and unsure, yet still wearing the sweetest little smile. No one came to reclaim her, but we promised her that her future would be filled with sunshine, comfort, and a family who sees just how special she is. Her SpiritRory is the definition of lovely. She has a soft, gentle presence paired with a naturally happy demeanor that makes her instantly endearing. Her smile - the one she flashes the moment someone comes to greet her at her kennel - is the kind of smile that melts hearts and makes you feel chosen. She's calm, sweet, and wonderfully balanced. She enjoys affection, loves meeting new people, and has a way of making everyone feel like an old friend. Social & FriendlyRory came in with Lorelai, and the two quickly became shelter favorites thanks to their easygoing personalities and excellent leash manners. Like her companion, Rory is an easy walker, moving with a relaxed pace and checking in with her handler. She makes every walk feel peaceful. She's also:Dog‑friendly - She enjoys the company of other pups and plays well.Cat‑approved - Calm and respectful around feline friends.People‑loving - She greets everyone with warmth and enthusiasm. Her gentle nature makes her a great fit for beginner dog owners, families, or anyone looking for a sweet, steady companion. Her Perfect HomeRory is the kind of dog who adapts beautifully. Whether she joins a home with other pets or becomes someone's one‑and‑only, she will bring joy, affection, and a sense of calm. She's the perfect match for adopters seeking a dog who is friendly, easygoing, and ready to love wholeheartedly.Ready for Her Bright FutureRory's rainy‑day beginning doesn't define her - her bright spirit does. She's ready to leave the dreary days behind and step into a life filled with love, comfort, and belonging. All she needs now is someone to see her smile and know she's meant to be theirs. Story
** Peaches is in a Foster Home. Please submit an application in order to meet her. **Meet Peaches!   Peaches is a zoomies loving, puzzle winning, tug of war aficionado, and that's just scratching the surface with her. Here's a few things you should know about her:•knows the "place" command and is improving and expanding on it with practice•loves to run•crate trained and quiet as a mouse in it•knows the "heel" command and is working on holding it with distractions•loves an adventure•sits at doorways•lovesss toys   These are just a few things that make Peaches the beautiful girl she is. The best way to get to know her is to come see for yourself all she has to offer!   Peaches does show some reactivity towards other dogs, mostly smaller ones, as well as small animals. She is improving with redirection training and we think she may be okay in a home with other animals with a family that can continue her training and keep interactions supervised! As always, meet and greets between dogs are required!   While we love having her here, she deserves a couch of her own. If a dog who loves hard, plays hard, and sleeps hard sounds like the right fit for you, apply and set up a time to meet her, she may just be your next greatest choice!
