I take my responsibilities very seriously.I let the staff and patients know when they are in danger. Like when they walk by and don't take me out for a walk.I'm only looking out for their best interest. Exercise is so important. I'm also a health nut. You are what you eat and I eat well. I'm trim and athletic. 58 pounds. I get a good workout in everyday. I like being outside. Hiking, playing, running. I'm very active. Ya gotta Keep moving I always say. I'm single. Looking to settle down with the right person. I feel I'm pretty good looking.I have a beautiful honey coat I like to show off. It really shines in the sunlight. Green Beans are a staple side dish for a good Thanksgiving. Speaking of being Thankful, Green Bean would be super Thankful for someone to adopt her this holiday season. Green Bean is a 7 month old puppy who currently is 38 pounds. She might still have a little growing to do, but we certainly think she will stay under 50 pounds. She came to us as a stray, so we aren't sure what the first months of her life were like. She is happy to be here and being cared for. With her still being a puppy she will require some training, as any puppy dog does, to learn her best manners and obedience. Green Bean loves her walks and is a moderate energy for a pup her age. He's a 53‑pound pittie with a gentle spirit and a whole lot of potential. He's up to date on all vaccines, has no current medical needs, and will be neutered before going home.Even though he hasn't been here long, Valentine is already showing us what a sweet, happy boy he truly is. He's warming up to the volunteers who take him out, and once he gets moving on his walks, he really connects with his person. He's one of our nicer walkers right now-easygoing, observant, and curious about the world around him.At this time, we believe Valentine may be dog‑selective, though it could simply be that he's still adjusting to the shelter environment. He has not yet been tested with cats, and we currently see no concerns with children.One of Valentine's most striking features is his amber eyes-a rare color in dogs. Ben & Jerry here to be your sweet treat dessert!Just like the ice cream, you can never have too much of these boys either. Ben and Jerry came in as strays together. Both are estimated to be 11 months old, are similar looking, and same size - so although there is no proof, we believe that they are brothers. With that being said, they do not need to be adopted together. Ben and Jerry would be plenty happy separated as long as they know their brother also has a safe and happy home.They do well with each other and other dogs from what we have seen so far. We have not yet tested them with cats, but if an interested application had cats we certainly will check that before sending them home. These boy are both between 55 and 60 pounds. They are more of a high energy dog, so they certainly would like a dog or human who wants to play with them. Don't let the high energy scare you, it just means there is more fun to be had!
