Story
Meet Jitterbug! Jitterbug is a young dog who is eager to learn and even more eager to love. She is all fun, all the time. With the structure and consistency a home of her own could give her, she would thrive! Jitterbug knows her basic commands and is working on her leash walking. She loves toys and to run outside in the play yards. She is a high energy girl, and would love a home that can give her the outlets she needs. Jitterbug is also incredibly smart, and is a good listener. A home that can continue her training and work her brain will turn her into the best girl she can be! Jitterbug does not react well to cats, and would do best in a feline-free home. While she shows some dog reactivity, we think she could live with a dog that matches her energy. If she sounds like the right fit for you, fill out an application and come meet her right at the shelter! She would love to meet you! Story
Hi!! They call me Bailey. I'm the best all around good boy here at HSWC resort. I've been here coming up on 1/3 of my life. I'm really good at math. I know you have 6 treats in your pocket and I intend to earn 100% of them treats! I heard the vollys talking about the best trained dogs get adopted. So I taught myself some things. go through my routine when my friends come to see me.Here's a sample of my show:✅Sit at door ...look cute for hook up. ✅Show vollys how excited I am to see them. Calm down and go for nice walk.✅Run through self taught tricks that make the walkers laugh... "here's my paw and my other paw and stop-drop and-roll . Hey, here's my belly for rubs !! " You don't even need to ask me stuff, I just show you my moves.✅After the walk I go to my bungalow and sit on my bed to be unhooked. I miss my friends when they leave me.I have lots of fans that ask for me. Sometimes I hear my name over the loudspeakers. Then I know I will get love soon.✅I like dogs, I miss my brother but I'm glad he got a family.✅I'm smart and I'll even let you teach me some things.✅I love food And will easily learn things for food. 🌕 I should always eat in another area away from your other dog. I didn't used to have alot of food before I got here. I like to eat my yum yums by myself. This place is nice, although they could use a few decorations, but I'd really like my own family to love. This 9-5 watching everyone walk by me all day is just not enough for me. ✅🐶I got along well with my brother Barnum, We loved to wrestle and go on day trips to the beach. Maybe you have seen our Halloween pics. I was the cutest Pooh bear and him Eeore. Then we had our holiday pics -we both thought we were Santa. (I'm really Santa, I give my bro stuff all the time). Here's what they say about me when they think I'm not listening...🐾Easy walker on a leash. ❤️People pleaser, Medium energy.✅Handsome coat, perfect compact size 63 pounds.😀Excitable energy that fizzles down on walks. Some jumping for excitement... (that easily goes away with consistent training commands.)🌕I might need a secure 6 foot fenced yard. Our other owner tied us outside but we could run free too. 🚕I like car rides with my brother but can be shy by myself. Please come and meet me, I'll be the bestest boy for you. I want my very own forever family, hopefully by the holidays so I can enjoy all the Santa decorations with you. He's my fav.I know I'll be your bff if you'll just give me a chance. You can have your very own Santa Pooh bear! Primary Color: Brown Weight: 57.4 Age: 4yrs 7mths 4wks

Story
Jazzy5‑Year‑Old • Female • Pit Bull MixJazzy is a soft, timid sweetheart who's trying her best to understand why her world suddenly changed. She came to us as a surrender after living in her home for quite some time, and this transition has been hard on her. Right now, she's shy, unsure, and still figuring out how to feel safe again. She isn't cracking a smile for us just yet - instead, she leans in close, gently hugging your legs when it's time to leave her kennel. It's her quiet way of saying she wants comfort, connection, and someone she can trust.PersonalityJazzy is a sensitive, cautious girl who needs a little time and patience. Once she feels secure, we're confident her true personality will shine through. She's already showing us glimpses of her sweetness and desire to bond.Good HabitsGreat walker - calm, steady, and easy on leashKeeps a clean kennel - tidy and respectful of her spaceDog & cat friendly - so far she seems comfortable around other animalsHer Ideal HomeJazzy's perfect match is someone who understands that shy dogs blossom slowly but beautifully. A quiet, gentle home where she can decompress, settle in, and come out of her shell at her own pace will help her become the confident, loving girl we know she can be.With patience, kindness, and a little time, Jazzy will absolutely shine. Story
Meet Panda the almost 4 year old pit bull mix looking for a fresh start! Panda is neutered, spunky, up to date on vaccines and is a gentle giant! At 56 lbs now, he is looking for his forever home that will care for him, love him and give him all the comfy beds and toys! Panda was originally adopted here in 2023 and returned to us in April emaciated yet still full of love. After careful observation, refeeding schedule and continued treatment, he is now at an appropriate weight and ready for adoption! Panda is heart worm positive which has been treated with medication, he is in the process of finishing his last part of his heart worm treatment. Due to Panda being underweight and underfed, he is currently on a slow feeder. He gobbles his meals up with no hesitation. Panda prefers not to have any feline friends, but dogs are always welcome. A meet and greet is required for any potential dog siblings. Panda is a decent walker, when redirected he responds positively. Some training is always best to have to make him thrive! Come meet your new best friend Panda Pie! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 63.2 Age: 4yrs 4mths 1wks
