Story
Mango is a 2 year old male pitty that is 50 pounds. He one proper boy, as you can see in his pictures. He sits up straight and poses so well! He came to us as a stray, and it was clear he wasn't very well taken care of. He has untreated skin issues and quite some long nails. We have a wonderful medical team that has started him on meds, medicated baths, and are earning his trust to give him the paw-dicure he much so needs. He seems to enjoy this pampering, always greeting us with a smile. His skin is why he is listed as special needs, just cause it will need some time to improved. He is not contagious! Just needs time for medication to work and hair to grow back. Our staff will answer any and all questions of future adopters. Besides all that, Mango is just a happy-go-lucky type of boy. Eager to please and very friendly. We are still learning more about him when it comes to dogs and cats, but as of right now, we think he is ok with either. If you're looking for a dog to really help, this is your boy. He needs some good heartfelt TLC to be back to his best self. Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: White Weight: 49 Age: 2yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
IHOP1‑Year‑Old • Male • Pit Bull Mix • ~60 lbsI hippity hop hop hop... IHOP.Yes, there is a story behind the name - and it fits him perfectly.IHOP came to us as a stray, though he certainly didn't think he needed rescuing. Animal control spent a bit of time trying to catch this adventurous red fella because he just kept moving... and exploring... and occasionally lounging in a stranger's kiddie pool like he owned the place. Cute? Absolutely. Safe? Not so much. So we brought him in, gave him a soft place to land, and learned why he "hopped."From all his roaming, it seems he may have picked up a little overuse injury. His back legs and one front paw were sore, so he started hopping around on whichever leg felt best that day. Hence - IHOP.(And honestly... we run out of original names sometimes.)We're pretty sure he wouldn't mind trying actual pancakes either, if his name puts you in the mood.Personality & HabitsClean and quiet in his kennelPoses beautifully for the camera - he knows he's handsomeDog, cat, kid friendly - seems to think everyone is his buddyKnows basic commands - smart and eagerWants to zoom - he loves to move, and wasn't thrilled about his "short walks" while healingIHOP is a happy, friendly, silly boy with a big heart and a whole lot of charm. He's ready to hop his way right into your family, and he cannot wait to meet you soon. Primary Color: Red Weight: 55.6 Age: 2yrs 0mths 3wks

Story
Meet Pretzel - the sweetest little twist in your lifePretzel is an estimated 2‑year‑old female boxer mix with soft brown eyes and an even softer heart. She's a gentle, affectionate girl who can't wait to get twisted up like a pretzel with her very own person.Pretzel arrived with another dog - we're not sure if they were housemates or just travel buddies on their stray adventure - but they got along beautifully. Since then, she has shown friendly interest in every dog she's met and has had no reaction to cats, making her a great fit for a wide variety of homes. She started out a bit timid, but she's blossoming more every day. With just a little patience and kindness, she'll become your most loyal, snuggly companion. She's also an easy walker, gentle on leash, and wonderfully polite. If you're searching for a brown‑eyed beauty with a loving spirit and a heart ready to bond, Pretzel is your girl.
