Story
Hi! My name is Victory. I'm a pit mix, 3 years old (Born: October 2020), 46 lbs, & I have a black/white coloring. I came in here with a couple of my family members. My baby boy, Loki, & my baby DADDY, Deamon. Hey, so what if he's 5 years older than me, I'm into more distinguished, mature men is all! (Besides, he got his thingies removed now, so no more old man dad!). Like both of them, I only get along with them, & no other animals. I'm good with people, but I'm not as social as Loki is. I'm much more shy & reserved when it comes to strangers. Heck, I've been here for a while now & I'm still a little jumpy with the people here from time to time, & they're the ones that feed me! Once I do get comfortable around you though, I'm the cuddliest little stocky girl you've ever met! There's not much else to say, really. I'm not one to talk about myself too much. If you've got a home with no other animals (preferably without close neighbors with dogs or anything either. I've gotten into the bad habit of being pretty leash reactive towards other dogs with pulling, growling, barking, etc.), & are willing to take things slow with me so I can get comfortable, we just might be able to make this work! I'm up to date on shots, spayed, chipped, & ready to go! My adoption fee has been sponsored! If you're looking for a girl that can be stubborn, but has a heart of gold, come check me out sometime! Story
Hi! My name is Venus! I'm a Presa Canario, 1.5 years old (Born: 8-3-2021), 101 lbs, & I have a brindle/white coloring. I'm a girl who's come a long way, but I'll still need a lot of work! When I got here with my sister (who's since been adopted), I was a very anti-social, standoffish, & sometimes pretty mean girl. Since then, I've been working with Chris & she's brought out the best in me! I'm still not the most social dog I'll admit, & due to the protective nature of my breed, I'd honestly fit best in a country home with just a person or two, not a lot of visitors or commotion in the home, that kinda stuff. It'll be a big time & effort investment for a dog like me! I ABSOLUTELY can't go to a home with other animals, though. No exceptions. I can guarantee you now it won't work. Another trait of my breed, very often we can be aggressive towards dogs & other animals, & I fall under that category. Another reason I would need to be out in a country home without a lot of stuff around except trees, grass, & water! I'm not a perfect girl, far from it, but if you've got the experience to work with a big girl like me, & are willing to put in the work, I can be a great dog for you for many years to come! I'm up to date on shots, spayed, chipped, & ready to go! If you're looking for a girl who's out of this world, come pay me a visit sometime! (Any potential adopters will be background checked & interviewed by RRAR management specifically before adopting Venus). Venmo: RRARHIBBING

Story
Hi! My name is Spring. I’m a pit mix, 1.5 years old (Born: December 2021), 45 lbs, & I have a fawn/white coloring. Similar to my name, I’ve definitely got springs in my feet! I’m always runnin’ & jumpin’ around like crazy! I’m a hyper girl who’s more on the high-strung side. I’m not used to being kenneled, so I’m pretty anxious around here, but I’ve adjusted pretty well all things considered. I’m an absolute sweet & loving girl once I get comfortable around you! I won’t lie though, I have my issues. I’m aggressive towards other dogs & cats, I’m scared of most strangers I meet, & like I said, I’m just an anxious & high-strung girl! I definitely will need to go to a home with a patient owner who’s willing to put a lot of work into handling a crazy girl like me, & keep up with it. Sure, I may not be a perfect dog right off the bat, but if you’re willing to give a shot to a little girl who’s had a tough time finding the right place & want to help make her life better, I’m well worth the effort! I actually just recently went through a professional month long board & train course, so I'm doing better than ever! I’m up to date on shots, spayed, chipped, & ready to go! If you’re looking to put a Spring in your step, & every step you’ll ever take after, come check me out sometime! Venmo: RRARHIBBING

Story
This is Prudence! She’s a roughly 1 year old mixed breed, 56 lbs, & has a brown/white coloring. She’s about the exact opposite of her name, to be honest. She’s not cautious at all! In fact, she completely throws caution to the wind! She’s an energetic girl with plenty of rowdy energy & lots of love to give. She can even get a bit TOO rowdy at times, but with proper patience & training (not to mention she’s barely out of the puppy stage), she’ll easily turn into a much calmer & more attentive girl. She’d likely fit well into most types of homes, but preferably a more active household for her. She’s got an adventurous spirit! For more information, call RRAR at 218-262-1900. Venmo: RRARHIBBING

Story
Howdy Ho, Joe! The name’s Buckaroo! I’m a roughly 1 year old mixed breed, 60 lbs, & I have a grey/white coloring. I’m like a buckin’ bronco of a dog! I’ve got all the energetic, fun energy of one, but also a bit of the stubbornness, too. I’m definitely more of a free spirit. I’m not used to kennels, collars, leashes, any of that sorts stuff. It’s been a weird adjustment, for sure! It’s not the worst thing in the world, but I won’t say it’s not annoying either! I‘m adjusting pretty well overall, though. I’ll definitely need someone who’s willing to give me some training, but I’ve got plenty of drive & I’m up for learning new things! My main problem is that I can be pretty mouthy. Not biting people to be mean! But moreso just biting/chewing at leashes, pulling on stuff, etc. If you can help me learn to use my mouth on toys instead of just everything, I’ll be a great dog for you! For more information, call RRAR at 218-262-1900. Venmo: RRARHIBBING

Story
This is Nala! She’s a 6 year old Staffordshire mix, 80 lbs, & has a fawn/white coloring. She’s a big, goofy, lover girl that’s strong as a horse & has a skull like a ton of bricks! She’s been around all kinds of people & done well. She’s very reactive towards both dogs & cats, though. She’s definitely one that will have to be an only-animal home, & you’ll have to be careful on walks of you live near a lot of other dogs. If she was able to go to a home moreso out of town where she wouldn’t have to worry about others bothering her, she’d be great! She was left loosely tied to our door handle at the shelter, but luckily we found her quick before she got off & onto the highway! We were later able to find out some information on her. Now she’s just looking for her new home! If you think you’ve got a fitting environment for her to live, come check her out sometime! She’s up to date on shots, spayed, chipped, & ready to go! For more information, call RRAR at 218-262-1900. Venmo: RRARHIBBING
