Story
Meet Charlie! Intake date: 5/30/23 Intake type: Surrender DOB: 01/26/2021 Gender: Male Weight: 54lbs Charlie is a sweet, wiggly, playful boy. He LOVES going for walks, but he’s also incredibly snuggly and affectionate. Charlie is amazing with other dogs but would do best in a home where he is the only furry friend. He will need a little more time and dedication! Charlie would not do well in a home with cats or children. We’re not sure what has happened in his past, as he first came to us as a stray, but Charlie has pretty bad separation anxiety. He does well at the shelter, but former adopters have had trouble with crate training and keeping him out of trouble. He is a strong dog who is very determined to be right at your side. Any potential adopter would have to be committed to working with Charlie and invest their time into crate training and overcoming his anxiety. We have purchased a special crate for Charlie that will go with him upon adoption. Charlie is up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. If you think you can give Charlie the best life possible, fill out an adoption application today!

He is incredibly smart and loves to please people. He is only two and has lots of puppy energy. Lincoln does not seem to mind the kitties or dogs here at the shelter. He would do best in a home with children over the age of twelve; just because he is still learning manners and is a large, strong dog. Lincoln is fully housebroken and has average leash manners. Lincoln is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. If you are interested in Lincoln, submit an application today!

*IN A FOSTER HOME* Meet Ruby! Intake date: 10/31/2023 Intake type: Stray DOB: 10/31/2022 Gender: Female Current weight: 40 lbs Ruby is a sweet, playful, and energetic girl. She loves everyone she meets and enjoys being the center of attention. Ruby still has lots of puppy energy and has had little to no training, but she is very smart and picks up on new routines quickly. She wants nothing more than to make her people happy! While in foster care she has learned to come, stay, sit, and lay down. Ruby can be a bit picky when it comes to other dogs. She lives with a cat in her foster home and is learning not to chase kitties and how to be gentle when playing. Ruby would likely do well in a home with children. Ruby is 100% housetrained and is working on her leash manners. Upon adoption, Ruby will be up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. If you’re interested in Ruby, submit an application today!

Fetch is Sadie’s favorite thing in the world. She likes to bounce and tell you how much fun she is having. Sadie is quite dog selective and might prefer a home with a chill, male dog.
