Meet Charlie! Intake date: 5/30/23 Intake type: Surrender DOB: 01/26/2021 Gender: Male Weight: 54lbs Charlie is a sweet, wiggly, playful boy. He LOVES going for walks, but he’s also incredibly snuggly and affectionate. Charlie is amazing with other dogs but would do best in a home where he is the only furry friend. He will need a little more time and dedication! Charlie would not do well in a home with cats or children. We’re not sure what has happened in his past, as he first came to us as a stray, but Charlie has pretty bad separation anxiety. He does well at the shelter, but former adopters have had trouble with crate training and keeping him out of trouble. He is a strong dog who is very determined to be right at your side. Any potential adopter would have to be committed to working with Charlie and invest their time into crate training and overcoming his anxiety. We have purchased a special crate for Charlie that will go with him upon adoption. Charlie is up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered.
