Story
Meet the adorable Leslie! She's on a quest to find her forever home and is looking for someone who can understand her shy nature. Once she trusts you, she's a total sweetheart who loves to snuggle up with her favorite people. Leslie would be happiest in a home with no cats or small animals, but she's great with other dogs as long as they're on the larger side and take it easy with her. And did we mention she's a huge hugger? Leslie is a playful 1.5-year-old at heart and loves nothing more than shaking toys around, rolling in the grass, and living life to the fullest. However, she can be a bit nervous around strangers and quick movements, so we recommend a home with adults and mature teens who are patient and understand dog body language. Teens who are eager to shower her with love might accidentally scare her, so we think Leslie would be happiest with older kids who can give her the space and time she needs to feel comfortable. If you're ready to give Leslie the second chance she deserves, come visit her today and start the adoption process!

Story
Meet Hogan, the energetic and strong boy with a heart of gold. Despite his lean physique, Hogan is always up for an adventure and loves to play. He would be the perfect companion for someone who enjoys outdoor activities and is looking for a faithful sidekick to join them on outings.Hogan may be selective with other dogs and can sometimes be too rough during play, so we recommend that he be the only dog in the household. However, he may enjoy making dog friends outside of his home. Hogan is not a fan of cats, but he gets along well with older children. This big puppy has tons of energy and is eager to please, making him a great candidate for continued training in the home. With the right guidance from an experienced adopter, Hogan has the potential to become a well-mannered and loyal companion. If you're looking for a smart and loving dog who craves human interaction, Hogan may be the perfect match for you. Consider welcoming this adventurous and playful pup into your home!

Story
Introducing Pepe Le Pew, a non stinky, very loving, hound mix! Sadly, Pepe was left in his previous home after his owner could no longer care for him and had to move. Pepe was in a pretty stinky predicament. He quickly got his name and a bath, but ever since his life and smell have gotten much better! Pepe is around 5 years old and loves people. He is a medium - large sized guy, with the cutest nubby tail! Pepe is very energetic! He will thrive with an active adopter! Pepe will also need an adopter with dog experience. He can be a bit nippy with the leash, so we would prefer him to have an adopter ready to work on continuing his leash and manners training in the home. For this reason, we also believe he would be best with teenagers and no small children. He is a people pleaser and likes other dogs, but can be a lot for calmer dogs. A dog meet will be required to be sure its the right fit in the home. Hed make a great snuggler for this upcoming winter. He loves blankies and kicks them around to find peak comfort level so you dont have to worry about being uncomfy tool! What a nice guy! If you would like to adopt mr.non stinky, please fill out and application and/or come visit with him in one of our petting rooms!

Story
TALL, DARK, HANDSOME, and with a GREAT PERSONALITY and lots of ENERGY, Monty is a KEEPER!!! Sadly, Monty was yet another unclaimed stray. He is estimated to be only a year old, so please be prepared for an active pup if you want to take him home! Monty is full of smiles, zoomies, and silliness! And he loves playing fetch and carrying toys in his mouth. When it comes to making dog friends, Monty can be very "in your face" and playful. Most dogs are startled by his rambunctiousness, but we are working hard to teach Monty appropriate play styles. Based on his energy, he would do best with older, sturdy kiddos. He is very sweet, but also a good comparison to "a bull in a china shop" and may accidentally knock a kid down. Monty would thrive in a home with an experienced dog owner. Someone who is active and has time to teach him how to be the goodest boy! He loves running around outside and would probably be a good workout buddy for someone, too! If you would like to adopt the jock of our kennel, come visit with Monty and apply to adopt him!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
It's heartbreaking to think that girl was found wandering cold and alone by dog control on Halloween day. Weighing only 35 lbs, it appeared she had puppies recently, but no puppies were found nearby. Was she bred and dumped? It's hard to say exactly, but nobody claimed this princess. She also had many skin tags and a mammary mass on her right side that were all removed during her spay procedure. Shasta has gained 7 lbs and feels great and READY FOR HER FUR-EVER FAMILY! Shasta is estimated to be around four years old and would thrive with a moderately active adopter. One who has time for walks or a round of fetch or two followed by a snuggle sesh! She is a leaner and loves to be petted. She can be a chatty girl who loves to speak for treats and toys! Additionally, Sweet Shasta walks well on the leash and appears housebroken. She would do well with respectful children and dogs her size. She's been doing great during doggie play groups. If you think she's the one for you, please fill out an app and come meet her! Thank you, Williams Toyota of Binghamton, for sponsoring this girl's adoption fee!
