Story
Specter has been patiently waiting for the right home. He’s a giant puppy at heart—silly, goofy, and full of personality, with the silliest faces and the softest speckled ears you’ll ever touch. It appears Specter missed some early manner foundations, but he’s eager to learn and truly wants to please. He does best with confident, consistent leadership and is currently on a behavior plan to help channel his puppy energy and build manners. He listens well when corrected and thrives with clear guidance. Specter is housebroken, loves toys, belly rubs, naps, and car rides. He likes other dogs but can be a bit picky about sharing space, and he can get overstimulated on leash sometimes, so a confident adopter is best. For now, he’s looking for a home without young kids while he continues learning. In the right hands, Specter is a very good boy with tons of potential—and more than ready to find his people. Please consider adopting him!

Story
Meet Steve 🐾—a silly name for a seriously silly boy! This 4-month-old wild child was found dumped in the South and has made his way to NY to sniff out his furever family (umm… sniff sniff… is it you?). Steve is full of energy, loves making new friends, and is always ready to play with toys—or just smile his heart out at anyone who stops to say hi. He’s great with kids and most dogs, though he can be a little overwhelming for some, so a meet-and-greet is best. Steve is at the perfect age for training and socializing, and while he’s sadly not a fan of cats, he’s a fast learner with a heart full of love. And let’s be real—have you seen that stunning grey coat? Could he get any cuter?! Steve is ready for a family who can keep up with his energy and match his big, goofy personality

Story
Meet Mary Puppins, a shy little dog mix around 5 years old who came from the same case as a few of our beagle mixes and is just beginning her journey of learning how to be a dog. Mary Puppins is a sweet, gentle girl who doesn’t mind being carried and enjoys calm, reassuring companionship. She prefers slow movements and can shy away if people approach too quickly, so she would do best in a home with savvy kids who understand how to give her time sometimes and patience she needs to blossom. Mary Puppins loves other dogs—having lived with quite a few—and would be thrilled to have a canine friend by her side. She likes yummy treats like chicken and hotdogs, which help win her over too! With time, love, and a patient family, this sweet girl will grow into a wonderful, loyal companion and best friend

Story
Meet Aero, a super-duper handsome standard poodle who’s searching for his forever home! This happy, social boy loves making friends and does great with other dogs and even cats, and based on his friendly, easygoing demeanor, we believe he would do well with kids too. Aero is about a year old and still learning the ropes—he isn’t fully housebroken yet but truly tries his best, and a home with a consistent routine will help him get on a solid potty schedule in no time. Aero may jump at the front of his kennel, but that just means he’s excited to see you and can’t wait to say hello! As a poodle, he is intelligent, alert, elegant, and athletic, making training a breeze for this smart cookie. He would thrive with an adopter who enjoys exploring, playing ball, or heading out for a fun drive together
