Story
643 days is a long time to wait for a family.  Meet Tucker — just over 2 years old, about 65 lbs, and quietly one of the most loyal dogs you’ll ever meet. From a frightened, unsure pup to a confident companion with the right pal, Tucker’s journey is a powerful reminder of what patience and love can do. Tucker is thriving in his upstate NY foster home, but what he truly wants is permanence — a person to explore life with and a place to finally belong. He’s the kind of dog who lives for connection. Long hikes, creek swims, peaceful walks, and then curling up beside you at the end of the day — Tucker is happiest simply being with his person. While he can be a little cautious meeting new people at first, once he trusts you, his devotion runs deep. Tucker at a Glance: • Dog-friendly (happy with playdates, also content solo) • Crate and house trained • Cat-approved  • Loves nature and water • Best suited for a calm, child-free home • Loyal, affectionate, and deeply bonded to his people Tucker has waited long enough. He’s ready for his forever — and for someone to finally choose him. Story
MEET BUNNY  One year old. Beautiful, bold, and a little bit of a wild child.  Bunny is the kind of girl whose whole body wiggles the moment she sees her people. She’s gorgeous inside and out — playful, affectionate, and full of life. A true wild child in the best way, Bunny brings energy, joy, and nonstop smiles wherever she goes. Currently with a GA foster home, she loves morning kisses, backyard zoomies, and being involved in everything her humans are doing — whether that’s exploring outdoors, going on adventures, or crashing hard for cuddles after a busy day.  Her start in life wasn’t easy. Bunny came to us as a stray, severely underweight at just 16 pounds and battling parasites. With proper vet care, consistent nutrition, and a whole lot of love, she’s made an incredible transformation. Today, Bunny is healthy, confident, thriving — and ready for her forever home.  Bunny at a Glance: 1 year old Spayed, fully vetted & healthy Dog-friendly Best with kids 15+ due to her enthusiastic, wild-child energy Not cat tested yet As the holidays approach, Bunny’s biggest wish is simple: a family of her own. A home that will embrace her beauty, her energy, and her joyful spirit — and love her for exactly who she is.  Could Bunny be the missing piece your home has been waiting for? Story
Honey recently arrived from PMAR’s Alabama rescue partner and is already showing what a sweet, social girl she is. True to her name, Honey is affectionate, outgoing, and loves being around people. She is spayed, fully vetted, and currently settling into her foster home, where she is doing well on leash and enjoying learning her new routines. Honey has been friendly with everyone she’s met so far and approaches new experiences with curiosity and enthusiasm. As with any dog adjusting to a new environment, Honey will need continued training, structure, and support to help her reach her full potential. With consistency and guidance, she is expected to thrive. Honey is ready for her next chapter and is looking for a foster or forever home committed to helping her continue growing into the wonderful companion she’s meant to be. Story
Meet Biscuit  Biscuit is a young male blonde lab/pittie mix currently thriving in an upstate NY foster home — and he’s every bit the happy, curious puppy you’d expect. Full of energy, personality, and potential, Biscuit is learning what it means to be part of a home. Like all puppies, he’ll need guidance, structure, and consistency as he grows, but he’s already showing how eager he is to learn and connect with his people. Biscuit would do best with a family who understands puppy life — training, patience, and routines — and is excited to help shape him into a confident, well-mannered adult dog. If you’re looking for a playful pup to grow with and build a bond from the start, Biscuit might be your guy.All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
