Baxter is a one-year-old beagle mix who is sweet, loving, and full of energy. He loves people and always wants to play. He’s great with cats, good with children, and enjoys being around other dogs. My mom passed away, and I have to move to take care of my sister. Unfortunately, the apartment I’m moving into doesn’t allow dogs, so I urgently need to find Baxter a loving new home. We want him to go to a family who will love him and give him plenty of attention and playtime. We have all his paperwork and veterinary records, and he has a current vet whose information we can share. Please reach out if you’re interested in giving Baxter a home.

Rio was brought to us as a stray. He is clean in his kennel so we would say probably housebroken. He is a little energetic for small children but would probably do well with older children. Rio would probably do best in a home as the only dog. No cats please.

Very slim, sleek body with those large shepherd ears. He is friendly and really enjoys a walk. Not too big, not too small. Really nice size dog for any living situation. Seems housebroken and isn't bothered by cats or dogs so far. Super smart and eager to please. He will sit and wait to eat. He is very attentive to direction.

Gemma is 1 1/2 years old, and she weighs just under 60 pounds. She is very shy with strangers, especially men. Once you gain her trust, Gemma is a sweet, affectionate dog. She enjoys spending time in our play yard with the staff. Gemma must meet any resident dog(s) in a potential new home, to make sure they get along. Gemma has been in a foster home for a few weeks. She did well with the elementary age children and the adults in the home but was nervous with their teen boys. She would do best with multiple visits to help build her trust.

Very calm and quiet in the kennel but cannot contain her excitement on the leash. We don't have much background on her but would definitely do best as the only dog. If you have time to play and do some training, she would love you for it! UPDATE: Bree is settling in and doing much better on leash. Bree is only 36 lbs, so she would work for many different spaces as long as consistent exercise is provided.
