Story
Just as sweet as a little java chip, our friend Java is made up of equal parts wiggles, snuggles, and snack-vacuuming. Java came to Lollypop Farm when her former family could no longer care for her. She isn't exactly loving kennel life, and is ready to bust out of here and sniff her way into her next chapter of life. Java would do best as the only pet in your home, but may do well with respectful children. This little lady is a mere 40 pounds, making her a great size for families of all kinds. Java does pretty well walking with a harness, and knows how to sit. She is happy to learn and grow with some training, which'll be easy, because she is super food motivated. Interested in this toy-loving, snuggle-giving girl? Please ask us about Java at Lollypop Farm!

Story
Maggie has quickly become famous around here for her love of walks and time spent OUT of her kennel. Maggie is confused and sad to be in an unfamiliar place, as she was once a beloved member of a family. Our dog walkers and animal care staff members quickly noticed that she loves the outdoors, and time spent with people, and we are trying to give her as much of that as possible. She can be a bit timid at first, but is truly as sweet as they come, she just needs a little time to get her bearings. Change can be hard on dogs, and sweet "MagPie" is no exception. Maggie has a positive history of living with dogs in a previous home, but we'd like for her to meet any resident dog that you may have here at the shelter, to be sure that everyone gets along well! Maggie also lived with small children in a previous home, and was reported to have done well with them. This orange gal is eager to join your family! She recently joined a foster home while she waits for her next adventure. If you're interested in meeting with her, please email her friend Nicole at nratliff@lollypop.org, or give us a ring at (585) 223-1330 x262.

Story
Hi, this is KC, she was born Nov 26, 2020. She's from a local breeder of Golden Doodles. We are having behavioral issues with KC, specifically with resource guarding toys, food and attention competing with our two other dogs. She is such a lover and is 100% interested in human attention versus playing with the other 2 dogs. In the last year our daughters have left the house for college and work, my wife and I work and just cant provide enough attention for her. It is a very difficult decision to rehome KC but she needs a home where she can be with people and not other dogs. She's good with cats as we've had cats but our daughters took them when they left for college and careers. She'll need regular grooming so be prepared for that expense. She is fixed but has had 2 litters with the breeder. Up to date on all shots and seen by our vet regularly.

If you want a dog that will play fetch and give you endless love, look no further than this pint sized brindle boy. People may look at the photos of his scars and think he is intimidating, but Rico has shown to be anything but. If you give this man the TLC he craves he will melt into your lap. Rico would prefer to be the only dog in the house, but his big personality will make sure your home is still full of joy. Story
Now, we generally don't call dogs "perfect" because hey, who is? Every dog has SOMETHING, right? Well, then, we met King. King is as close to perfect as a dog will come: he is potty trained, content to be alone during the workday, and loves everyone that he meets. He walks nicely on a leash, and has basic manners down pat. Genuinely, we will use our seldom-used "perfect" card to call it as we see it here: King is a TRUE King. King is loving, goofy and smart. He enjoys time playing with toys, solving food puzzles, and snuggling under the covers with his foster mom. He is an extremely adaptable boy as well, as he has been bounced around a bit during his life, but his positive attitude has never waivered. His foster mom had to go on vacation, and one of our other staff members dogsat for her, and he immediately settled right into her space like the KING that he is! It was reported that King was a perfect houseguest. Interested in this amazing, once-in-a-lifetime boy? Please email his friend Nicole at nratliff@lollypop.org.
