Story
Mirlo was adopted from an SPCA in 2022 as a puppy. He is 4 years young, born November 16th 2021. He is allergic to chicken with high metabolism, currently on Purina ProPlan Sport Performance 30/20 Salmon & Rice dog food; this is the food we’ve found where he won’t lose weight or have allergies with. He does great with kids and has never bit anyone. He is good playing with dogs but never lived with another dog; has separation anxiety so another dog may help. He is fairly lazy overall however will randomly get the zoomies but not often. He doesn’t need to be crated overnight and hates crates, however no trash or food can be left out as he will get into it. He enjoys getting attention and love. Someone who knows how to train better or can get him in with a trainer would be best as he does dig into trash and will steal food off a plate. Shots up to date: Rabies, Heartworm, and LeptospirosisShots needed: Canine Influenza, Distemper, & Bordatella (if he’s going to be boarded somewhere)

Story
Meet Lucky! This beautiful girl was found abandoned on the side of the road in an area where, sadly, dogs are often left behind and not found for weeks. Thanks to the kindness of our community, we were able to bring Lucky to safety. Lucky was previously adopted from a Lab rescue, but when her owner moved, she was left behind. While we may never understand how anyone could do that, we’re grateful she’s now safe and getting the care she deserves. Because of what she’s been through, Lucky may take a little time to warm up to other dogs and can be sensitive to fast movements. But beneath that is a smart, loving girl who knows her basic commands and is ready to bond deeply with her person. Lucky would do best with an adopter who can give her patience, love, and the fresh start she truly deserves. We can’t wait to see her finally experience the safe and happy life she’s been waiting for.

Meet Boomer! This handsome guy came to us from another shelter that ran out of space, giving him a second chance at finding a loving home. Boomer was originally found as a stray, so we don’t know much about his past—but we’re excited to help him find his future! Boomer may be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he turns into a total cuddle bug who loves being close to his people. With a little patience and love, he’s sure to become a loyal and affectionate companion. If you’re looking for a sweet pup who just needs a chance to shine, Boomer could be the perfect match.

Story
Meet Provie! This handsome boy is looking for a fresh start and a family to call his own. Provie was previously adopted from us, but was sadly returned when his family realized they didn’t have enough time to continue working with him. Provie enjoys playtime, especially a good game of fetch, and he’s done great with other dogs too! He has a sweet personality, loves attention, and would thrive with an outgoing family.

Story
Meet Caroline! Caroline came into our care as a stray and was sadly never reclaimed, so we don’t know much about her past. What we do know is that she’s been soaking up the love and stability here and is starting to let her sweet personality shine through. Once Caroline warms up, she thinks she’s a lap dog and loves nothing more than being close to her people! She also loves playing with tennis balls and happily keeps herself entertained with them.
