Story
Meet Chloe! Chloe has been in our care for some time, but she was lucky enough to spend about a year in a loving foster home. During that time, we learned so much about her—and she finally got to experience what it’s like to be part of a family.Sadly, her foster situation came to an end, and Chloe is now back at the shelter. The adjustment hasn’t been easy, but this resilient girl is making great progress. She walks beautifully on a leash, loves car rides, and can’t get enough belly rubs—especially while rolling around in the grass!Chloe needs to be the only dog in the home, but with slow, proper introductions, she has previously lived peacefully with a cat.If you think Chloe could be the right fit for your home, please call 252-475-5620 or stop by the shelter to learn more. She’s ready to find her forever person and would love nothing more than to be your loyal companion.

Story
Meet Nala! This beautiful girl was sadly surrendered into our care when her previous family had to move and couldn’t take her with them. Understandably, Nala is a bit nervous in the shelter environment—but once she opens up, she is incredibly loyal, affectionate, and an absolute cuddle bug.Nala does well with smaller, submissive dogs and would thrive in a calm, patient home. She loves beach outings, rides great in the car, and is happiest by your side—soaking up love and companionship. We’re hoping to find a foster-to-adopt home for Nala—someone who’s willing to give her the time and space she needs to adjust and truly shine. She would make the perfect companion for a single-person household or a quiet home looking for a devoted best friend. If you think you might be the right match for Nala, please call us at 252-475-5620 to schedule a meet and greet. She’s ready to share her heart—you just have to give her the chance.*ADOPTION FEE PAID FOR*
