Apollo was brought into our home to be a help to a teen with ADHD and emotional struggles. Unfortunately the teen has not been able to offer the care and upkeep needed for the dog to be properly looked after, leaving this to myself who for health reasons is not able to care for the pup. We are looking for a good home for Apollo. He is loving, gets along well with other dogs, and his humans as well.

Will take basic training and time for her to learn everything expected of her. All age appropriate vaccines will be given and spay surgery when she reaches 6 months at our vet's or you can use your own vet.

Story
Buddy Holly Have you ever looked into the eyes of a dog? I mean really looked. Hi.My  name is Martha. Buddy asked me to  write his bio since his English is not good. Although I have never met Buddy, I have looked into his eyes in the photos taken of him. In them I have found kindness, earnestness, love, and vulnerability. I have owned and cared for three Brittanys from their youth to their elder years. Without a doubt, I can tell you that the elder ones are a delight and eager to please.  Buddy at 9 years is a liver and white Brittany mix currently being fostered in Michigan. He is curious and playful, but also has a mellow side to him.. In broken English Buddy tells me he loves to run around the yard with surges of  joyful enthusiasm. After his energy runs out, he likes to relax with a nap or snuggle.   Going for a walk is one of his preferred activities. His stuffed animals and squeaky toys are his treasures, and he can be seen showing them off with pride wherever he goes. He tells me that when he plays with his squeaky toys, he pretends to be one of them and tries to squeak back, hoping to sound like his namesake. However, he realizes this is a lost cause and contents himself with burping now and then. Buddy is house trained and crate trained. Since he is not a fan of other dogs,  he tells me he would be happy to be the only pet his home. He is informed me that he would prefer to be in a calm home with adults or older kids familiar with canine behavior who can give him the space he need and appreciate his relax relaxed way of life. Although he has not been tested with children, his calm and engaging manner would more than make up for this.  Buddy is a sturdy dog who is in excellent health and takes no medications. He is a serious alarm system. He will let you know if something out of the ordinary is going on around the house. He has an impish strain, such as digging when bored. He will be at his best if he has structured play time or organized activities to occupy his inquisitive mind. Buddy is a dog with healthy contrasts. He is able to juggle joy and companionship. He can be playful without being overwhelming, devoted without being clingy, and thoroughly faithful.  Buddy wants you to know the following:  " I don't drink alcohol or use illicit drugs. I don't smoke or drink coffee. I have never been arrested. You will find me to be of sound character. I may have bursts of enthusiasm, but I also like to snuggle on the couch and watch Netflix with you."   Could you be the one to give this sweet boy the forever home he deserves? Fill out an application at: https://nbran.org/adopt/adoption-application. Once your application is submitted the coordinator in the State where you reside will follow-up with you. Need to reach your State Coordinator, find their contact information here https://nbran.org/about/state-provincial-coordinators.   MI/Buddy Holly adoption fee is $275.00 which will help NBRAN cover the vetting costs and other expenses associated vetting and readying our Britts ready for adoption.   Don't live in MI or close by? No Problem!  NBRAN also has a wonderful transport team willing to help bring Brits to their new family, up to 1400 miles with the adoptive family being responsible for the last 100 miles, at no additional fee. Story
Meet Your New Best Friend! Jayce is a 3-year-old Brittnay Mix who is looking for his forever home. While he might be a little shy when you first meet him, give him a moment to come out of his shell, and you'll find a funny, bouncy, and deeply loving companion. Jayce is a "paws-on" kind of dog! He is famous for his hugs and will spend his time trying to wrap his paws around you if he isn't already trying to curl up in your lap. He is the perfect blend of a lounge partner and a playmate. Because of his cautious temperament, Jayce has some specific needs to help him feel safe and successful: No Other Dogs: He prefers being the "only child" and can be reactive toward strange dogs. Quiet Environment: He would not enjoy the high-stress environment of a dog park. Patient Humans: He needs an owner who understands he needs to approach new things at his own pace. No Strangers (at first): He can be vocal with people he doesn't know, but his loyalty to his inner circle is unmatched. If you have the patience to let him blossom, you will be rewarded with a level of love and loyalty that only a dog like Jayce can give. He is ready to be your most devoted friend. Jayce's adoption fee is $325 to offset the cost of vetting and help other rescues in need. He is currently located in Georgia and can be transported up to 1400 miles via our Canine Railroad. Story
Jenni Fostered in North Bay Adoption fee: $700 Vaccinated & Spayed Microchipped 2 Years old I come with 30 days of free Pet Insurance Hi everyone! My name is Jenni and I’m a beautiful Baladi girl full of spunk and energy. My favorite things to do are play with my foster sister, chew on bones and toys, and spending as much time as possible outside. I love having a large yard as my zoomies are epic! I am working very hard on my recall and some basic commands. I am also working on my leash manners because I just want to go everywhere and smell everything but I promise I am getting better with all these new things my foster parents are doing with me. I am very food motivated and I love food puzzles. I am really good at solving them too! I do love rope toys to tug with and I may start tugging on your clothes to get you to play with me. Grab a rope and I’ll tug you off your chair. I am fully housetrained and crate trained. I also am really good at not fighting over my kibble; my doggy sister and I eat side by side and switch bowls all the time with no issues. My foster parents have always made sure to play with me while I am eating to make sure I don’t have any agression that way; however, human food is my weakness and I like to counter surf and try to steal food off the plates! I am working on that and doing really well but I still need to be watched or your food will be mine. I am a typical Baladi dog and I love to bark at the world! If you don’t know a lot about us Baladis, please read up about the breed. I am intelligent, athletic, loyal and protective. I absolutely love my humans. Like most Baladi dogs, I need a dog friend and a big yard to run and play. I think I’d prefer a boy that’s around my size (or bigger) so my rough play style doesn’t scare or hurt them. I am okay with new people coming into the house as long they are calm and allow me time to settle down. I will bark but give me a few minutes and maybe some of my favorite treats and I will be friends with you. I love car rides when I’m free but don’t like to be locked in a crate. My foster parents love taking me for walks through the doggy stores and I behave well in them. I will even going up and sniff new people with little hesitation. I haven’t spent much time around kids lately, but am no stranger with them.
