Apollo was brought into our home to be a help to a teen with ADHD and emotional struggles. Unfortunately the teen has not been able to offer the care and upkeep needed for the dog to be properly looked after, leaving this to myself who for health reasons is not able to care for the pup. We are looking for a good home for Apollo. He is loving, gets along well with other dogs, and his humans as well.

Story
Ranger is vocal and loves to tell you about his day and then tell you again! He loves to be pet and looks at a gate as a challenge, not a barrier. He can be stubborn and defiant, so a strong Alpha owner is needed or he will take control. He is a powerful puller on leash, so a harness is best. He likes car rides and is crate trained. He is looking for a forever home that has some experience with the food motivated lab and stubborn mastiff. Due to his size and strength, older children are best. He has a great smile, and will show all his teeth when he is happy or nervous. He is up to date with his vaccines, flea and tick treated, microchipped, Heartworm negative and is neutered. His adoption fee is $500. You must be 21 years old to adopt and provide vet and personal references. An application to adopt him can be found on our website www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com. Click on Adopt, then Dogs for Adoption and scroll to the bottom of the page. All applications are reviewed, and if we feel you might be a good fit for him, you will be contacted to arrange a home visit as well as for permission to speak with your vet. Repeated phone calls and emails with not advance your application. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue and there is no opportunity to meet him before an application has been approved. We thankyou for respecting these guidelines.

Story
Leo is a very sweet, loving young man. He loves everyone and every experience for him is new and exciting! He loves to cuddle, be pet and get kisses, and will jump up to 'hug' when greeting humans. We are working on helping him to learn that all 4 feet need to stay on the ground! He loves car rides, running and playing and leash walks, though he's still learning that he isn't a sled dog! He is curious about the kitties in his foster home, and can be a bit too friendly with them, so any kitties in his forever home must be confident and understand his love. He is a little underweight and has now gotten into a great feeding routine with quality food and is looking better in his skin. He does have food aggression towards the other dog in his foster home and needs to be seperated or will bark and snap. Foster is working to get him to understand his food is his and he doesn't need to guard it. He doesn't like to be left outside alone, and will panic and cry if he thinks he was left. He is comfortable in his crate and knows that he only is there when foster is at work or it's bedtime. Inside he prefers to be touching his humon and the closer he can get, that happier he is! He came into care very matted, and needed a very close shave/groom. He will need to be maintained with daily brushing as well as routine grooming (likely every 3 to 4 months). He is up to date with his vaccines, will need a booster soon, is neutered and heartworm negative, and has been flea and tick treated. His adoption fee is $500. You must be 21 years old to adopt and provide vet and personal references. An application to adopt him can be found on our website www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com. Click on Adopt, then Dogs for Adoption, and scroll to the bottom of the page. Do not click the link on his profile and be sure to fill in all anwers completely without using autofill. Story
My name is Bandit. I am a very sweet boy who loves lots of petting. I`m up for adoption because my human sibling is a toddler and she causes me lots of anxiety. I need a home without any young children. I love other dogs! I would thrive in a home with another dog for me to play with every day. I love to go for long walks. I am house trained. I don`t jump on the furniture. I`m just great! I need a home with lots of love, attention and pets. I am neutered, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, and needles up to date. Please just love and pet me.

Sweet Forest has traveled from Northern Manitoba to find her forever family. Abandon and left to die with her litter mates. Sweet, curious, just trying to figure things out like a typical puppy her age. Presently working on housetraining, including leash training. Will take basic training and time for her to learn everything expected of her. All age appropriate vaccines will be given and spay surgery when she reaches 6 months at our vet's or you can use your own vet.
