Story
Bandit - a most accomplished stealer of hearts. In fact, he collects them! And this little puppy has a heart as big as Texas and is willing to share it with anybody giving him the chance. He's a total sweetie pie, and looking forward to having a family of his own. After being dropped off in a box with his 6 siblings at a rural animal shelter, well, he's ready for a real home who will take care of him, and love him. He doesn't really steal, because in reality, he gives back so much more than he takes. Maybe his name should have been Robin Hood instead. Bandit will be a large boy when he grows up. Right now he is just about 8-9 weeks old and weighs about 9-10 lbs. But he'll grow quickly. His breed is known for being a gentle, loyal breed, typically very good with children. He'd love a home with a back yard to play in, a nice comfy place to sleep (we expect him to be an inside dog), and lots of snuggles and cuddles. His long coat will need to be brushed regularly to keep him looking his best and not become matted. But you'll love doing it and he will be amazingly glorious because you did. Now is the time for Bandit to learn all the things good puppies need to know and he'll be depending on you to teach him. Waking up to this sweet boy will be a gift, and he's ready to spend time with you and make you his human. Bandit is up to date on all his vaccines and dewormings and has been microchipped. His adoption fee is $450. If you are interested in adopting Bandit, please copy/paste the following link into your browser for an application - www.tinyurl.com/adopt-shpr

*****If you are interested in adopting Tamara, please copy/paste the link below into your browser for an application. However, if you are not sure you are ready to bring a dog or puppy into your family, and all family members are not on board, do not proceed to the next step. www.tinyurl.com/adopt-shpr Tamara is a happy, and friendly girl, who is easy going with all people and dogs. From the first day she came to the shelter, she was coming to me when called and sitting by my side. She loves to run around, stretching her legs, but calms down nicely inside. She's a great size that easily taken places in the car, and she walks pretty good on a leash too. She would be a great family dog! All she needs is a chance to prove it! Tamara has been spayed, and is up to date on her vaccines and is microchipped. She is on flea and heartworm prevenative.

However, if you are not certain you are ready to bring a dog into your family, and all family members are not on board, please do not proceed to the next step. www.tinyurl.com/adopt-shpr Rigby is a happy boy who was rescued by a good samaritan when he saw that he had an injured leg. Lucky for Rigby he was brought to us because he needed FHO surgery, which he got! Rigby has also now been neutered and brought up to date on all his vaccines. He is HW negative. Rigby is a good boy, who likes to play with other dogs. He's very inquisitive and loves people. He seeks attention and loves it when he gets it. Rigby is sharing a kennel with another male dog and has gotten along great with the famale friends he has met. Rigby deserves a better life - a nice yard to play in, maybe a dog friend, and most of all the love and care from a human who loves him. To apply for Rigby: www.tinyurl.com/adopt-shpr

*****If you are interested in adopting Kyla, please copy/paste the following link into your browser for an application. HOWEVER, if you are not certain you are ready to bring a dog into your family, and all family members are not on board, please do not proceed to this next step. www.tinyurl.com/adopt-shpr Kyla is a joyful girl, who is happy about the whole world. She loves nothing better than getting out of her kennel and hanging out with the humans! Kyla does well with other dogs, and would do best in a home that has a yhard where she can play, and a person to give alot of the love and attention. She likes to chase a ball, but hasn't gotten the hang of bringing it back yet. Kyla is begging you for a home. Can you make her wish come true? She is 36 lbs right now, and a little over a hear old. Heartworm negative, spayed and up to date on all core vaccines and is microchipped. To adopt Kyla: www.tinyurl.com/adopt-shpr

HOWEVER, if you are not certain you are ready to bring a dog into your family, and all family members are not on board, please do not proceed to this next step. www.tinyurl.com/adopt-shpr Scout has a sad story. He and his broghter were kept in a filty pen all their lives. With nowhere clean to eat or sleep, they basically just existed that way until their owner was murdered and we were called. Now Scout has dog friends, and a clean kennel and good food. His brother went on to another rescue and is doing well in his home. Scout will too, if someone will give him that chance, but he needs one on one attention to know that he is safe and loved. He gets along great with other dogs, and loves treats and a calm, reassureing voice. This boy deserves another chance to know what life is all about. He is heartworm positive, but we will treat him for that with an adotion commitment. Scout has been neutered and is up todate on all core vaccines and is microchipped. HOWEVER, if you are not certain you are ready to bring a dog into your family, and all family members are not on board, please do not proceed to this next step. www.tinyurl.com/adopt-shpr Malibu is a sweet and gentle girl, brought in as a stray. She's been easy to care for and even easier to love! She has a mild mannered disposition, and gets along with other dogs. Not rowdy or hyper at all. She will make a great family member. She's a tiny bit timid at first, but that does not last long at all. It just makes you want to let her know life is going to be ok. Tamara has been spayed and is heartworm positive, but is scheduled to be treated for that on 7/17. She will need 30 days of quiet time after treatment. Then she is free to be a regular dog. We'd love for her to spend that quiet time in a comfy home with a new family rather than a noisy shelter. She is spayed and up to date on all core vaccines and microchipped.
