Story
Meet Tucker! Tucker was born on April 23, 2026, and this sweet little boy has already survived more than any puppy should. He was cruelly thrown from a moving vehicle, but thankfully escaped with only a few bumps and scrapes. Despite everything he experienced, Tucker has not let it dim his incredible spirit—this boy smiles nonstop! Tucker absolutely loves people and is always ready to soak up attention, affection, and belly rubs. He also enjoys playing with other dogs and would love having a canine friend to romp around with. He is playful, loving, sweet, and especially enjoys a good game of catch. Tucker is currently finishing medication to clear up intestinal parasites that were likely passed to him by his mother. He is responding well, almost finished with treatment, and will soon be ready to begin his next chapter. After such a heartbreaking start, Tucker is finally receiving all the love and care he deserved from day one. Now he needs a forever family who will make sure he never feels unwanted or unsafe again. Could Tucker’s nonstop smile be the one missing from your home? ##2798519##

Story
🌻🐶 Meet Sunflower ("Sunny") – A Tiny Ray of Sunshine Looking for Her Forever Home! 🐶🌻 Location: Lexington, SC Name: Sunflower (Sunny) Age: ~2 years Breed: Rattle (Rat Terrier/Poodle mix) – best guess! 🐶 Approximately 8 lbs. Her scruffy coat and build make us think Rat Terrier and Poodle, but without a DNA test, it's just our best educated guess! M/F: Female ♀️ Spayed/Neutered/Shots: ✅ Spayed, microchipped, UTD on Rabies, DHPP & Bordetella, dewormed, and UTD on flea & heartworm prevention. Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: 🐶🐱👧 Wonderful with everything she's met so far! Aggression or medical issues?: Sunny is heartworm positive, but don't let that scare you away! ❤️ Columbia Animal Services is covering all of her heartworm treatment and medications. We do highly recommend local adopters, as she'll need to return for two back-to-back injections during treatment (requiring about a 48-hour commitment). Reason for rehoming?: Sunny came to us through a field confiscation from Animal Control. We don't know the full story, but she became available for rescue very quickly, suggesting her previous owners did not contest the seizure. 💔 She also arrived severely matted, so she had to be shaved down. We'll include an intake photo so you can get an idea of what her coat will look like once it grows back! House/crate trained?: ✅ Crate trained! House training is still a work in progress. She rarely has pee accidents but occasionally has poop accidents, which we believe are mostly due to adjusting to a brand-new routine. Additional info/story (personality): 🥰 Sunny truly lives up to her name. 🌻 Sweet as can be. 🤗 Loves cuddling with both people and other animals. 💕 Has never met a stranger—everyone is her new best friend! 🙌 Happy to be picked up and held. 🐕 Walks well on a leash and stays close off leash. ✂️ Will need regular grooming and frequent brushing once her gorgeous coat grows back in. If you're looking for a tiny companion who wants nothing more than to love everyone she meets and curl up beside you at the end of the day, Sunny is your girl. ☀️ 📩 Message or comment if interested! Please include Sunflower or Sunny's name in your message, as we have several rescue animals currently looking for homes. 🏡 Adoption application & contract required to ensure a wonderful forever home and completion of her remaining vetting (heartworm treatment).
