Good with kids,
Story
Jeffrey was so afraid when he first came to the Newberry County Animal Shelter…liked to hide under the desk of one of our very compassionate ACO’s…when I first met him….it took a lot of coaxing to just get him to accept a treat. Well, it really didn’t take long to gain his trust & he loves being outside! He also loves sticking to your side for pets & reassurance. It always breaks my heart a little when one of the pups flinch at the most gentle touch, but he’s learning that our hands are always gentle. He’s trusting again & loves affection. Has kisses for all dogs, children & adults he passes now. He is a young 2 1/2 years old male Staffordshire terrier mix heartworm negative.
