Story
I am desperately trying to find a new home for my dog due to ongoing health and financial issues. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that has progressed to walking difficulties. I was also be having an upcoming surgery in February that I will be hospitalized for an extended period of time. I have reached out to shelters, rescues, family and friends with no luck. She needs someone with breed experience. She does suffer with anxiety, and needs someone who can help socialize her more. She takes time to warm up but once you get past that she is an amazing dog!

Story
My daughter rescued the dog from downtown Kingsport approximately 3 years ago. He was a newborn puppy at the time. My daughter and her husband now have a child (my grandchild) and they are having to move out of state for work. The new place and lifestyle does not allow for pets. I work long hours during the week and do not want to leave the dog outside tied up for 12-14 hours a day through the week. Monty is a good dog and deserves a home he can get attention and love.

Story
He is 5 years old, he currently has been indoor/outdoor but would do ok with either. He has a good temperment, gets along good with other dogs, cats children. He has never been aggressive, his only issue is that he barks too much. My work schedule limits the amount of time I can be with him and think he would be a better fit with someone else

Story
Miss Mabel is ready for her FURever home! She is a small mix of somesort - maybe shepherd - she has a beautiful blue eye and cool markings. She is around 30-35 lbs. She LOVES to run and play and does best with male dogs, not females. She is also better with larger dogs. Her BFF (in one of the pictures) is 2-3 times bigger than she is and a big goofball (See Marmaduke - also listed with FOR). She has not been around cats but I would guess they would not be a good match. She seems to love ALL people though so she may absolutely love having little humans as friends! She is young (guessing about 1-1.5 yrs) and could learn some basic manners but she walks pretty well on her leash and knows sit. If you are interested in Miss Mabel please fill out an application on our website, forrescue.net. She could be available for transport and adoption outside of the Huntsville, AL area but transport fees are in addition to adoption fees.
