My name is PennyLu. I was adopted back in the winter as a cute, tiny pup. Sadly, my folks weren't ready for a puppy, and here I am, back at the Humane Society, at 10 months old. I am a beautiful brown mixed breed. I might be a Pyrenees/Anatolian mix; I'm a big girl! My heart is as big as my paws. I have a very sweet demeanor, but I am honestly terrified here. I don't enjoy the loud sounds and commotion of humane society life. I would really benefit from a home where I could gain some confidence and come out of my shell! Please know that I am still just a baby despite my size. I'm incredibly intelligent! I am housetrained and crate trained. I'd love to have a couple of canine pals or even some human kiddos to play with! I have not been cat-tested, but that could be arranged. I am fully vetted. I have been spayed and microchipped. While he’s not especially toy-driven, he stays engaged through interaction and benefits from regular exercise and structured activity. Asher is also **very food-motivated**, which makes him a great candidate for continued training. Asher has received some basic obedience training and responds well to a **confident handler** who can provide clear guidance. He can be excitable at times and may pull on leash, but he looks to his person for direction and continues to make progress with consistency. He currently attends doggy daycare and enjoys playing and socializing with **female dogs**. He is best suited for a home without male dogs, as he can become uncomfortable around them. Dog parks are not recommended, but he can do well in more structured, controlled social settings.
