Meet Arietta! She is a nine-month-old black lab puppy. Sadly, her former owner is in bad health and knew the best thing he could do for her was to allow us to find a more appropriate home for her. Arietta's former owner was a dog trainer, so she's already been given a great foundation for success. Arietta seems to be potty trained as she has had no indoor accidents! She is also crate trained. In typical Labrador fashion, Arietta loves everyone she meets! She is also dog-friendly. We feel she'd be fine in just about any home scenario, given her happy-go-lucky attitude. Just warning you..her happy tail has a mind of its own and might accidentally topple over a toddler! It is important to keep in mind that she is still a puppy! Arietta has lots more growing to do — physically, mentally, and emotionally. She needs an owner willing to work with her to help her become a great adult dog. Socialization, continued training, and regular leash walking are all important right now. Arietta is a wonderful pup, and we know that there's a family out there that can really bring out all she has to offer! At just over a year old, he’s still growing into himself and learning how to navigate the world, but he already enjoys people, activity, and being part of a routine. He does well meeting new people and enjoys outings like walks and time spent exploring. While he’s not especially toy-driven, he stays engaged through interaction and benefits from regular exercise and structured activity. Asher is also **very food-motivated**, which makes him a great candidate for continued training. Asher has received some basic obedience training and responds well to a **confident handler** who can provide clear guidance. He can be excitable at times and may pull on leash, but he looks to his person for direction and continues to make progress with consistency. He currently attends doggy daycare and enjoys playing and socializing with **female dogs**. He is best suited for a home without male dogs, as he can become uncomfortable around them. Dog parks are not recommended, but he can do well in more structured, controlled social settings. Asher is accustomed to grooming and tolerates **baths, brushing, nail trims, and professional grooming** well. He will require regular brushing (2–3 times per week) to maintain his coat. He is also prone to ear infections in one ear, so routine ear care will be important. With cats, Asher shows curiosity but tends to be cautious. He may be able to coexist with a **dog-savvy cat** who maintains boundaries, though supervision and a thoughtful introduction process will be important. Asher’s ideal home will provide **structure, routine, and confident handling**, along with opportunities for continued training and engagement.
