Story
We have had Prince since he was about 12 weeks old. He is now 2 years old amd he has anxiety. He is the sweetest loving dog I have ever had and I want to give him the best home I can,but he keeps picking a fight with my other dog sometimes for no reason at all I have not had a problem for over a month now..for other dogs safety I have been keeping them apart most of the time, but times that I haven't I have had no problem but I have 2 other dogs and I'm about to have a baby here soon and I just don't want nothing to happen. He is house trained for when people are home. When we are not he is kinnal trained, any tip of cloth material he will destroy when it is in his house, He loves kong toys,He loves outside, loves to cuddle, if you could possibly have a fenced in yard so he could run that would be awesome. I just want him to be loved and cared for like I want to for him. Please help me find this handsome baby a good home

All AHHS animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption (if species appropriate). Application and counseling is required prior to all adoptions. Individuals interested in adopting a puppy are STRONGLY encouraged to download and read this FREE ebook. Even if you've raised puppies in the past, this is an invaluable resource to help make your new addition successful!   Hello there, my name is Meg.  Short for Margaret.  But that's a mouthful, so let's stick with Meg.  Not to brag or anything, but Margaret (Meg) was the preferred name given to queens and princesses.  I fit right in.  A princess for sure.  A little bit about how I came to be looking for my furever home.  I ended up on a farm owned by some super nice people with my 4 young pups.  I can't quite remember how I got there, I think dropped off in the dead of night.  These kind people took me and my babies in.  They made sure we were warm and fed.  Once my little ones were ready to find a home of their own, they reached out to the Humane Society in Johnson City.  The kids have since found loving homes. Now it is my turn.  I am an all around great gal.  I do well with kids, cats and other dogs.  What more could you ask for?  I would be very happy hanging out on a farm of my own.  Oh, I can't forget to mention, because I know this is important to you humans, I am spayed, microchipped, heartworm and flea treated and current on all vaccines.  Come on!  You know I've peaked your interest. Contact Mary for more information maryjames@ahhumanesociety.org Please note that this is a mixed breed dog.  There is no guarantee on breed or adult size.    You may complete an application at https://ahhumanesociety.org/dog-adoption-application/  May 3, 2024, 6:27 pm

She is in search of an only dog home. She loves her people and toddler. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her people one on one. She gives the best kisses. She can be high energy, but also enjoys a good nap next to her people. She would do great at agility. She enjoys hiking. She is very intelligent and picks up on commands quickly. Treat motivated. She has had multiple in-home training sessions.    She loves to have a toy in her mouth. She has a big tail that wags hard. She does have an anxious personality, but would settle down in a home where she is not having to compete for attention from other dogs.    The Basics -  Age: 2.5 years Weight: 45 lbs  Spayed: Yes Microchipped: Yes Vaccines up to date: Yes On Heartworm prevention: Yes On Flea/Tick prevention: Yes House-trained: Yes Crate-trained: As a puppy; Not currently  Leash Skills: Good Medical: Currently on Fluoxetine    Likes/Dislikes -  Toys: Loves toys and is great at differentiating between her toys and kids toys. She is a velcro dog and loves to be with her person. Although Lil'y did not live with any young children, she has spent time with one and was really gentle. She would be an amazing sister to other dogs who are smaller than she is or the same size. She exhibits fear with larger dogs. As a dog who wants to be with her person, she does not like to be alone. Lil'y loves to spend time outdoors, but she does not like to be in the rain. Lil'y listens really well and loves to be rewarded with praise and attention.   This is a Courtesy Listing only.  Postings are provided as a courtesy by AHHS to guardians re-homing their pets.
