Story
Chief (Brooke-fostered in TN)'s Story Meet Chief! Chief was born on April 13 making him around 4 months old as of August 5th. He currently weighs around 12 pounds. Chief and his brother Sparky found themselves at a very overcrowded shelter. They were spotted by one of our volunteers and we moved heaven and earth to get them into a foster home where they are both thriving! From Chief's foster mom: Both boys - they absolutely love to cuddle and play , but at bed time they go into their kennel and put themself to bed . They are working and doing great on potty training . They get along great with big dogs and small dogs and kids . Chief is a bit more laid back than Sparky but that's because Sparky says he is smaller and he can't let Chief show him out during Puppy MMA practice . Chief has the cutest little hop when he is excited. Sparky on the other hand when he gets excited he trips over his own paws! They love a soft blanket to just curl up on . Even when it is hot they love to curl up on a blanket and lay in the sun . They love water!!! I have a kiddie pool and they will run and play in it and roll around in the water. Also if it is raining out - not storming - they will go and play in the rain!!! They love being outside. Chief is up to date on age appropriate shots, neutered, microchipped and ready to find his family!!!! Chief is in TN but will be transported to New England for adoption.

Maddie and Sissy (Lisa-fostered in TN)'s Story Meet Maddie and Sissy! Maddie and Sissy are sisters!! The two tiny doxie/min pin mixes are as cute as they come!!! They are around 1 year old and weigh around 7 pounds each. They are just adorable girls! They were surrendered to the shelter and we found a wonderful foster home for the two together. Maddie and Sissy love each other and they also love other dogs. We really want to find them a home together. Both of these girls love to play. They are cautious around cats but are learning how to be respectful. They just get excited when one walks by! Sissy is more laid back than Maddie and more on the shy side. Together they are perfection! There are several dogs at their foster home and they are really enjoying the company! They love chew toys and love all the attention from their foster mom! Maddie and Sissy are up to date on shots, HW negative, microchipped and will be spayed on July 17th. They will be ready to travel after that! Maddie and Sissy are in TN but will be transported to New England for adoption. The adoption fee is $1000 and that includes a health certificate and transport to New England. Story
Rodan (Erin-fostered in TN)'s Story Meet Rodan! At just 5 months old, Rodan is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered, and mostly kennel trained. He currently weighs 19 pounds! Rodan has been living in a home with kittens, a toddler, and other dogs and has settled into family life remarkably well. After spending the beginning of his life surviving on the streets, hes learning the routines of being a house dog. Hes working on potty training and still has a few survival habits to overcome, including scavenging and some food guarding, but hes making steady progress with consistency and patience. Unlike his brother, Rodan is perfectly content wearing his collar and is happy to trot alongside you on his adventures. Hes the calmer of the two and has a more independent personality. While he enjoys affection and spending time with his people, hes also perfectly happy entertaining himself, exploring the yard, or finding a quiet shady spot to relax. One of his favorite pastimes is cooling off in the kiddie pool before stretching out for a nap. Rodan would thrive with a family that appreciates a puppy whos a little more laid-back and enjoys doing his own thing. He's proof that even dogs with a rough start can blossom into wonderful companions when they're given patience, kindness, and a safe place to call home. Rodan is in TN but will be transported to New England for adoption. The adoption fee is $550 and that incl
