Please don’t let my age fool you! I am an active, playful girl. I have met many dogs without an issue and the first time I made it into the house – onto the couch was my first destination. I also love to chew on bones. I have a great appetite and no issue with a human by my food bowl or touching me during eating. I’m just pretty happy to have company and would prefer to have a family who wants to include me in their lives and not tied up outside. One of my great skills that I am quite proud of (but my foster mommy says it’s not nice) is that I can climb 5 foot fences. I’m working on 6 foot but haven’t succeeded because mom tricked me with a wobbly fence. So I suppose if you don’t me following you to work I don’t believe I can scale a privacy fence. Good with kids, dogs, not sure about cats, didn’t look at the chickens and ignores the pig next door. Walks good on a leash. She listens well, knows commands, and truly wants to please her people. Ruby has already shown what an amazing dog she is by raising four puppies and doing a phenomenal job. She was a devoted, loving mom and has transitioned seamlessly into being a calm, affectionate companion. She loves people, does well with other dogs, and is a dream indoors. Ruby is fully house-trained, crate-trained (though she doesn’t need one), and has excellent house manners, no chewing or destructive behaviors. Outside, her playful Husky side shines. She loves to run, play, and show off her zoomies. Like most Huskies, Ruby thrives with regular exercise and mental stimulation. If bored, she may try to explore, so a secure yard and an active lifestyle are important. She has been around cats and will bark at them, but with time and guidance, this may improve. Ruby would do best with an adopter who understands the Husky breed and is ready to give her the activity, structure, and love she deserves. Yeah… that! I mean… look at that gaze. There is NOTHING there. Processing? Minimal. Vibes? Chaotic. To be clear: Yeager is A LOT. Not “a little training needed.” Not “puppy energy.” We’re talking full-time project dog. ✔️ Dog social… selectively (great with females & smaller/meduim males) ✔️ Has done well with cats and older kids ✔️ Extremely happy, confident, and always ready to GO ⚠️ Reality check: • Potty trained… but won’t tell you and will absolutely have accidents • Will mark indoors • Does not understand (or respect) human correction • Learns patterns quickly… then uses that knowledge against you • Will outmaneuver your routine (especially when food is involved) • Rarely settles — especially around other animals (play is his full-time job) • Takes correction from other dogs… then forgets it happened 3 minutes later • Destroys beds, feeders, and anything not built for chaos • Eats fast, then immediately wants to sprint/jump (deep-chested breed awareness REQUIRED) Training status: He’s not untrainable, but he is not intuitive. He will require someone experienced, structured, and committed to ongoing training. This is not a “figure it out as you go” dog. Ideal home (non-negotiable): Experienced, active, consistent human(s) who will not give up when he inevitably tests every boundary you set. Doberman or working-breed experience strongly preferred.
