Story
Roxy is about a six-month-old Parsons Russell Terrier, very very sweet, good temperament, good disposition. Loves belly rubs, leg massages, she just melts and relaxes in your arms when she gets this special attention. She is just finishing up her first heat cycle. We rescued her as a puppy. Her litter was sitting in a cage outside a small restaurant, not really being cared for. She gets along very well with our 12-year-old Dash Hound. Greets visitors with a wagging tale going a mile a minute. She is definitely still in full puppy stage because she chews up her toys, however, she is a very good dog and we see her doing very well with an individual or a family. We were under the impression when we rescued her that she would be a smaller dog, like our Dash Hound. We found out very quickly she was going to be a little taller than we expected, a little too much dog for us at our age. We would prefer she go to a home with a fenced in yard.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Sage and I am a 9 month old Golden Retriever mix.I am a resilient spirit despite a challenging start in life, having experienced a broken spine after being hit by a car. However, this hasn't deterred my enthusiasm for life, as I now happily navigate the world with the help of a wheelchair. I do have to wear a diaper or a drag bag because I'm not always sure when I have to go to the bathroom.  Personality: Sage is a beacon of positivity and resilience. Despite his physical limitations, he radiates joy and exuberance, demonstrating a remarkable ability to adapt and thrive. His playful nature knows no bounds, and he's always eager to explore new adventures and make new friends. Socialization: Sage is incredibly sociable and gets along famously with both dogs and humans alike. His gentle and friendly demeanor makes him a beloved companion to everyone he meets. Whether he's engaging in a game of fetch with other dogs or cuddling up for a cozy nap with his human friends, Sage's affable nature shines through. Health: Sage has been neutered and is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations, ensuring he stays healthy and happy. Despite his spinal injury, he receives the best care possible to manage his condition and maintain his quality of life. Overall, Sage is an inspiration to all who encounter him, demonstrating the power of resilience, love, and determination in overcoming life's challenges. He serves as a reminder that no obstacle is insurmountable with the right support and a positive attitude. Sage's journey is a testament to the boundless capacity for joy and companionship that dogs bring into our lives, regardless of any physical limitations they may face.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 26, 2024, 3:18 pm
