All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Blosom is a 1 year old medium haired tabby that is as sweet as can be. Since being rescued her personality has really been 'blossoming' and her foster home reports she is enjoying all the love and attention she is getting. We think because of her temperament she would do fine with a cat savvy dog and older children. She can be a little picky about what cats she likes but if the introductions are done slow and steady we think she would be fine with another young cat in the home. She would love toys, a soft bed of her own, a cat tree and lots of yummy treats in her new home. If you are looking for a younger kitty that doesn't have that crazy kitten energy, she could be a good match for you. She loves to be with her people and can't wait for her forever home to find her. She would love to meet you. If you think she could be the one, apply to adopt her today! She has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150.March 31, 2025, 6:48 pm

They are equally loving, sweet, playful and affectionate. They are definitely a dynamic duo. Emery is a little boy, and Sage is a little girl. They are 8 months old and would love to find a forever home that will spoil them rotten. Emery has a medium length coat, and Sage is a short haired tabby. They could easily join a home with another cat, cat savvy dog, or kids. They are so much fun. They of course enjoy playing and wrestling with each other, but when it is cuddle time, they both pile on their foster mom for some love. They have great temperaments and can't wait to find their forever home. Would you like to meet these cutie pies? Appy to adopt them today. They have been spayed/neutered, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350 for both.February 19, 2025, 12:41 pm

Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Flynn and Ryder are our dynamic duo brothers. They are 12 weeks old and can't wait to find their forever homes. They can be adopted individually or as a pair. They can easily join a home with another cat, cat savvy dog, or gentle kids. They are both equally sweet and loveable but here are few special characteristics that set them apart from each other. Flynn - He is the daring brother. The leader. Confident, playful, and affectionate. Loves to be in the middle of everything. Absolutely loves exploring various nooks and crannies of his domain. He is very curious and engaging. Loves to be with his people and likes to sit on their laps when its sleepy time. And of course, he is just as handsome as can be! Ryder - He is a very sweet, loving, and chill kitten. Affectionate, charming and more on the docile side. He holds his own with his sibling and other animals in the home, but he just has an overall easy-going personality. He absolutely loves climbing his cat tree and using his scratcher mats. He is initially a little shyer than his brother, so he would do well in a home that will be a bit patient and will let him warm up to you on his timing. But once he trusts his people, he would love to be your cuddle buddy on the couch watching TV. He is as sweet as can be and is ready to start his happily ever after! They have been neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $200 per kitten or $350 for them as a pair. Apply to adopt these cuties today!March 26, 2025, 6:39 pm

Story
Occasionally when we rescue street cats, we find one that appears to be royalty in disguise.  And such was the case with Princess Dasha.  Dasha's mama cat moved her 3 kittens onto a roof to keep them safe, but she did not have enough milk for her kittens, so they were underweight and very fragile.  Once in custody with plenty of food and care the kittens slowly recovered and each began to show their own distinct personality.  Dasha is calendar-cat beautiful, a rare orange and white female. (Did you know that most orange cats are male?) While she loves to play like a kitten, she can be a bit reserved around new people, as befits royalty.  But once you have earned her trust (which does not take long) she will shower you with purrs, affection, and invitations to play. Dasha loves to nap in your lap or next to you, and is extremely huggable, with a soft almost-medium length coat.  To this Princess, the lap of luxury means YOUR lap.
