Story
Looking for a home that can provide needed vet care and unconditional love! We adopted Mister a few years ago from a shelter who initially told us he was just 3 years old. Last year after a trip to the vet, we found out he was around 13 to 14 years old based on x-ray images. Since then, his health has been declining. He has lost a significant amount of weight despite eating all the time and it sounds like his nose is always stuffy and he sneezes a bunch. He has also lost a few of his teeth (assuming from old age). Unfortunately, we do not have the extra funds to provide him the vet care he desperately needs since we have recently had a baby. Despite sounding unwell, Mister is a very loving cat who loves pets and cuddles! He occasionally gets the zoomies and runs around the house. He does excellent with dogs and babies. With new environments, he may appear scared and try to hide in enclosed spaces, but he warms up to new people quickly!

Story
I am part of a bonded pair with my brother Maxwell: https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/46727396-washington-district-of-columbia-cat Tigerlily (Lily) is a very loving, but shy and skittish cat. I got her when she was 6 months old and she will be turning 10 in March. In the past few years she developed an unknown allergy and requires specialty food. Aside from the occasional ear infection, she is in great spirits. When her allergies were particularly bad, she lost the hair on the back of her ears and it never grew back. She doesn't seem to mind and it's kind of adorable. I am having to rehome her brother (Maxwell, also listed) due to ongoing medical costs and she is bonded with him so I would like to find a home to take the both of them together. Preferably a quieter home due to how nervous Lily is. She has gained some weight in the past few months due to us moving back to the East Coast, as she hides under the bed mostly, only coming out for food and bathroom time.

Story
Meet Charlie Boy – The Tuxedo Gentleman with a Heart of Gold Hi there, I’m Charlie Boy, and I’m all dressed up in my black-and-white tuxedo, ready to steal the show—and maybe your heart, too! I’m a sweet, gentle guy with a classy look and a whole lot of love to give. I’m not just handsome—I’m affectionate, laid-back, and always happy to curl up with a good nap or some head scratches. Whether you’re reading a book, watching a movie, or just enjoying some quiet time, I’ll be right by your side looking fabulous. Now, I want to be honest with you—I’m FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive). But here’s the truth: it doesn’t slow me down one bit. I feel great, and with a little routine vet care and a loving home, I can live a long, healthy, and happy life. FIV is often misunderstood, but it’s only passed through deep bite wounds, which means I can safely live with other friendly cats, too. FIV+ kitties like me are often overlooked, and that’s the saddest part—we have so much love to give, if someone would just give us a chance. So if you’re looking for a dashing, kind-hearted companion who will always be dressed to impress, I’m your guy. Let’s make this a forever kind of thing. Contact ccrnewengland@gmail.com to learn more about adopting me—Charlie Boy—and see just how special a tuxedo cat can be. Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 8, 2025, 11:01 am
