Story
Norman is a sensitive senior cat with the potential to be a truly sweet and gentle companion once he feels safe. He adjusts slowly to new environments and will thrive with an adopter who can give him time, patience, and space to come out of his shell. His success will depend on someone who is comfortable reading feline body language and letting him move at his own pace.To help Norman decompress, he should start out in a quiet, contained room—like a spare bedroom or bathroom—equipped with hiding spots, cozy spaces, vertical perches, and easy access to his litter box, food, and water. He should never be approached while hiding or showing signs of fear such as crouching tightly, flattening his ears, hissing, or growling. With time and gentle routines, he will begin to relax, explore more confidently, and engage with his trusted people.Norman can be cautious with strangers and may prefer to keep his social circle small. When visitors come over, he should always have the option to retreat to a safe space and should never be forced into interactions he’s not comfortable with.Norman is looking for a quiet adult home with no dogs or other cats. Older, cat-savvy kids who understand how to read his body language and give him space may be appropriate. This special senior boy just needs the right environment to feel safe—once he does, he’ll show his gentle and affectionate side.

So, you want to be a cowboy?  Or maybe just adopt one….Yippee-ki-yay!  Have we got a young Cowboy for you!  Howdy, ya’ll.  Can you believe this cute 10-11 month old boy is up for adoption?  He is almost as handsome as John Travolta in that black hat and blue shirt in the movie Urban Cowboy.  Yeehaw!  I can say this is some of the whitest fur I have ever laid my eyes on!  It pert near glows.  Just gorgeous and oh, so soft.  As soft as a bunny tail.  Talking’ about tails?  His is perfection!  Just try to not reach out to pet him!  And those eyes.  He has such kind, green, expressive eyes.  I cannot stop staring at him!  This vaquero is smokin’ hot!  When I walk into the kitty room and see him on his tower, I just call out Cowboy, and he rolls over!  “Please come pet me!” And of course, I oblige.  Such a love.  Cowboy is learning how to play with the other kitties in his kitty room.  Woah.  Hold your horses.  He is not so sure about it.  Nor is he sure about those small, young ankle biters.  It might be best that he only dance with you, his new partner.  Can Cowboy have this dance with you, for the rest of his life?  Can you be his partner, every night?  He is so ready for his forever home.  So darlin’, darlin’, won’t you stand by Cowboy?  He is in need, so won’t you stand by him?  Cowboy is certain to bring many smiles to your face.  He is fixin’ to hit the trails here, soon!  Have you been Lookin’ for love in all the wrong places?  Lookin’ for love on too many websites?  Looking for traces of what you’ve been dreaming of?  It is Cowboy!  Pony up!  Full gallop ahead, and contact CCR now and get your lasso on this boy!  You’ll bless this day that you discovered Cowboy…..another heart lookin’ for love.  Please contact critter, cavalry rescue if you were interested in this cute cowboy!  Ccrtennessee@gmail.com. tell us where you live city and state, please. July 27, 2025, 9:11 pm
