Story
Sarah is a high energy girl and at 8 months old her current situation is not working. She gets no exercise and we really need your help Could you foster ??? Yes we desperately need a person who could work with her and really get her out to exercise. She is very friendly and happy and likes everyone she sees. She is around 30 pounds and a big yard to run in is much needed. She knows how to sit for treats but she would love to get out and hike and run and be your loyal companion. She is up for adoption too. Please reach out if you are ready for a pretty strong sweet girl. She does love other dogs (All dogs) but she needs to learn how to play too. Never has had a chance to have fun. Teresa 2767910475. For Pete's Sake Animal Rescue

Learn more, see our list of dogs needing foster, and apply, https://www.citydogsrescuedc.org/foster-a-city-dog.html City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.

Story
East TN. Out of state welcome! If you are seeing this on adopt a pet the adoption fee includes the fee for transport and interstate health certificate! Transport available to your are in the northeast and Great Lakes areas. We use rescue riders for all our pet transport needs because they are the best. Meet Maisie - an adorable young small (30lbs) female dog with a heartwarming personality. Maisie is an intelligent, friendly, affectionate, and loyal dog who loves to play, but is also a couch potato and loves her cuddles and kisses. She is athletic and enjoys long walks and adventures, and she's always up for trying new things. Maisie gets along very good with other dogs and loves to play with them. A fenced yard is important. She is young, so will require a patient and understanding owner who is willing to train her and give her the time and attention that she needs. She knows sit, is house trained and crate trained. She has a recessed vulva that has been operated on and will require medication which she is doing very well with (it is to keep her from incontinence). When she gets older she may need a diaper if the meds no longer assist her. Not a big deal, the diapers are adorable and are like an outfit If you're looking for a brave and loving companion, Maisie is the one for you! Apply at petpath.org
