Learn more, see our list of dogs needing foster, and apply, https://www.citydogsrescuedc.org/foster-a-city-dog.html City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.

Sarah is a high energy girl and at 8 months old her current situation is not working. She gets no exercise and we really need your help Could you foster ??? Yes we desperately need a person who could work with her and really get her out to exercise. She is very friendly and happy and likes everyone she sees. She is around 30 pounds and a big yard to run in is much needed. She knows how to sit for treats but she would love to get out and hike and run and be your loyal companion. She is up for adoption too. Please reach out if you are ready for a pretty strong sweet girl. She does love other dogs (All dogs) but she needs to learn how to play too. Never has had a chance to have fun. Teresa 2767910475. For Pete's Sake Animal Rescue
