I have a cute routine of carrying a chew toy in my mouth when I’m getting ready for walks. I enjoy spending time outside soaking up the sun and doing my lightning-fast zoomies. After a fun outing, I’m the perfect co-pilot who curls up and naps in the car. I’m a bit timid at first but eager to connect with my people. I’ve thrived in a home environment and have done well living with other dogs, though I do appreciate breaks from them sometimes. I’m loyal, intelligent, and affectionate—just the right companion for active yet cozy days. And make sure to scroll down past my bio to see all the AMAZING videos my foster mom has posted! You can really see how much I thrive in a home, and maybe it’ll help you see how I could be in your home and heart! HOW AM I WITH DOGS: Good with dogs with proper introductions. I’ve lived with multiple dogs and did great, but I may need patience and breaks from them occasionally. HOW AM I WITH CATS: I am a bit too interested in cats and would do best in a home without feline friends. HOW AM I WITH KIDS: Unknown. I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS: Sit, stay, come. MY HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: I have good house manners! THINGS I LIKE: Chew toys, sunny yard time, car rides, cuddling, zoomies. THINGS I DISLIKE: Storms, sudden dog encounters in public places. Hi! My name is Pinecone (don’t ask me where that came from). 🐾 The world is still pretty new to me, so sometimes I get a little overwhelmed. But once I know I’m safe, I love to explore. I also like to chase my tail. I’m lucky it’s so long because I WILL catch it someday. I know I’m supposed to go potty outside, but sometimes I just can’t hold it yet! I also know my crate is a safe space, but if I can see you, I’d really rather be with you. I don’t even mind baths. The first time, I wasn’t sure what was happening, so I jumped in to get a better look...and then suddenly I was all wet! I learned how to do these things called steps, and sometimes I like to skip the last one on my way down. That's how I roll. My foster mom says I prance around like a baby goat, but I’m not sure I know what a goat is yet. I do know there is no other dog in the oven. I thought there was, but it turns out it was just my reflection. My foster mom could have given me some warning before she opened the oven to prove it, though. I about lost my mind 🤯. I like being held and being near my people while they do their human stuff. Did you know sending an email can make a whoosh sound? I was a little weirded out by that at first, but I get it now. I’m looking for a family who will help me continue getting to know this big world and teach me all the things I need to know to become the very best boy I can be. A calm home would be best, so I don't get overstimulated. Is that you? If so, please apply so we can be together forever. ❤️

Introducing, Odele! She is 9 weeks old and ready to steal your heart. The first thing you will notice about this puppy is her cuteness (obviously), but also her unique coloring. Note the black strands on her tail that make it look like it was dipped in ink. The second thing you will notice when you've spent any amount of time with her is that she is really smart. I know all "Mom's" say this, but on her first day she was letting out a bit of a whine on the way to the door when she was ready to go out. Her temperament is fantastic. Everyone is amazed at how well behaved she is. She is doing great in her crate and has not had any accidents in the last week. She has bursts of playful energy and adorable bounciness followed by extended naps. She loves belly rubs and is a great car traveler. She is always wagging her long tail. She will follow you around if you leave the room, but is not clingy. She has been friendly and requested head scratches from everyone. She has also met a few furry friends and small children and is patient and playful with all.She plays independently and is really good at fetch. She eats well but is not food aggressive. Despite her small size, she has done stairs since the day we got her. She is fearless! An all-around great puppy. Say Hi to the happiest and most easily adaptable pup! Beat of My Heart is a jolly and curious puppy who loves to play and to be cuddled (and for some reason, he loves watching tv with you!). He is super treat-motivated, so he learns really quickly -- he already knows how to sit, go to his crate, go to his bed and has made great progress in potty training too. Before getting his food, he knows to sit down and when it's time for bed, all you need to do is open his crate and he goes right into it and sleeps (make sure to add a few teething toys in there just in case he gets bored when he wakes up before you do! He has been socialized around other dogs that we meet during our walks and he is aware of strangers, although he sometimes randomly barks at people walking by us. He also walks extremely well on the leash, which makes him a perfect companion if you also enjoy walks!  Adoption Day: September 19th at PetSmart Tysons Corner from 10:00–10:30 AM, an approved adopter must be present to adopt. Meet Oribe! To know him is to love him! He is adorable for sure but also so smart, friendly, and playful too. He arrived in Virginia just a week ago but is already making himself right at home. He sleeps through the night in his crate! He walks on a leash with the resident dog. And, potty training is going really well. Oribe loves to play but is also able to calm himself when he's tired.
