Story
https://foha.org/pet/milo2024/ ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Hi, I’m Milo (pronounced MEE-LO)—a small dog with a big heart! I’m a sweet, speedy little guy who loves both playful adventures and peaceful moments. I have a cute routine of carrying a chew toy in my mouth when I’m getting ready for walks. I enjoy spending time outside soaking up the sun and doing my lightning-fast zoomies. After a fun outing, I’m the perfect co-pilot who curls up and naps in the car. I’m a bit timid at first but eager to connect with my people. I’ve thrived in a home environment and have done well living with other dogs, though I do appreciate breaks from them sometimes. I’m loyal, intelligent, and affectionate—just the right companion for active yet cozy days. And make sure to scroll down past my bio to see all the AMAZING videos my foster mom has posted! You can really see how much I thrive in a home, and maybe it’ll help you see how I could be in your home and heart! HOW AM I WITH DOGS: Good with dogs with proper introductions. I’ve lived with multiple dogs and did great, but I may need patience and breaks from them occasionally. HOW AM I WITH CATS: I am a bit too interested in cats and would do best in a home without feline friends. HOW AM I WITH KIDS: Unknown. I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS: Sit, stay, come. MY HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: I have good house manners! THINGS I LIKE: Chew toys, sunny yard time, car rides, cuddling, zoomies. THINGS I DISLIKE: Storms, sudden dog encounters in public places. FOHA ADOPTION POLICIES AND PROCESS – https://foha.org/pet-adoption/adoption-policies/ ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES: Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, distemper & Bordetella), 1-month access to Petcademy for training and behavior support, slip lead leash, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick & heartworm preventatives, diagnostic testing, and additional medical procedures as recommended by our vet. My adoption fee has been covered by a generous donor!!

Story
Adoption Day: May 16th at PetSmart Tysons Corner from 10:00–11:00 AM, an approved adopter must be present to adopt. Meet Frazzle – the perfect mix of playful puppy and sweet cuddle bug   Frazzle is the kind of pup who wins hearts instantly with his soulful eyes and floppy ears! He's equal parts fun-loving energy and calm companion, ready for playtime one minute and happy to curl up and relax the next while you work from home.   This smart little guy is already showing what a great dog he’s going to be. He’s dog-friendly with both big and small dogs and is obsessed with my 5y/o resident dog - they love playing tug, chasing each other around the house or napping together.     Frazzle has met adults and a teenager (men and women alike) and has loved everyone equally - tail wags are guaranteed. He’ll be meeting kids soon, but so far his sweet, adaptable personality shines through in every interaction.   For such a young pup, Frazzle is already building amazing habits: Crate trained overnight: has been sleeping through the night like a champ Working on potty training: catching on quickly with positive reinforcement Great in the car: usually curls up and naps Crate progress during the day: may whine briefly when left, but settles quickly and keeps his space clean   Frazzle is looking for a home that will continue to guide him, love him, and enjoy all the joy (and puppy kisses!) he has to offer. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, and well-rounded pup to grow with your family, Frazzle might just be your perfect match.   For daily updates on Frazzle’s journey, personality, and milestones, follow along on Instagram @azulatherescue! Make sure to schedule a meet and greet ##2714390##

To learn more about Ralphie, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org. Ralphie will be at one of our adoption events this weekend! Visit our event page (https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/) to see which one—event listings are usually updated on Fridays with attending dogs. If you want a four-legged best friend who will stick to you like peanut butter on toast, Ralphie is ready to be your main squeeze! This 2-year-old feist mix is the definition of a “Velcro dog,” happiest when he’s right by your side—whether you’re answering emails, whipping up dinner, or settling in for a cozy night on the couch. Wherever you go, Ralphie is all in, bringing his heart (and a wagging tail) along for the ride. Once Ralphie feels at home, his personality shines brighter than a perfect sunny afternoon. He’s equal parts cuddle bug and action star, zooming through life with enthusiasm and then happily melting into you for belly rubs (fair warning: those are non-negotiable!). With treats in hand, you’ve got his full attention—this clever pup is eager to learn, loves a good challenge, and is always ready to show off his skills. He also enjoys meeting other dogs and is always up for a playful romp with new canine friends. True to his feist roots, Ralphie is a spirited adventurer who would love a human sidekick for hikes, runs, or backyard squirrel patrol missions. He’s got the heart of an explorer and the loyalty of a lifelong teammate, making him the perfect companion for someone who wants both fun and affection. If you’re ready for a devoted buddy who will love you to the moon and back, Ralphie is ready to be your happily ever after!

Story
-ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 15 lbs -ESTIMATED AGE: 1.5 years -KNOWN WITH DOGS: Molly also did well meeting some of our neighbors, including few dogs. No wagging tails or proactive sniffing, but polite and cautious greetings. -KNOWN WITH CATS: unknown -KNOWN WITH KIDS: Same with neighborhood kids - very cautious and jumpy with sudden moves and noises, but no aggression. Molly has started to open up more towards our kids, and even jumped into our 7 yr old's lap the other day. She still doesn't play with the kids and ignores them most of the time (she prefers me and my husband), but will sit for her treats and won't say no to a few scratches and pets. -KNOWN CUES: Molly knows now the command "sit", and knows to sit and wait for her meal. We are working on "stay" now. -KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: housebroken. Good in crate during day. Working on not whining at night but she's improving. May have some excited pee that she's working on! -KNOWN LIKES: following her person around -KNOWN DISLIKES: loud noises, new things! Will need help continuing to socialize. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Molly is coming to HT from a rural VA shelter. Her elderly owner could no longer care for her. Notes from the foster: Molly is starting to relax a bit and getting used to the routine. She is a little skittish so they're working with her on socialization but she's come a long way in the couple weeks they've had her! He’s friendly with people, dogs, AND cats, making him the ultimate social butterfly (minus the wings… although, with his charm, he might as well fly).     Looking for a buddy who’s sweet as can be, adores life, and is ready to love you unconditionally?
